@@Mister-Mayhem37 Picanha is a popular cut of beef in Brazilian cuisine. It is also known as the sirloin cap or rump cap. Picanha comes from the top sirloin section of the cow, specifically from the rump area. It is a triangular-shaped cut, typically featuring a layer of fat on top, which adds flavor and juiciness when cooked. In Brazil, picanha is commonly prepared as a grilled or roasted steak and is highly regarded for its tenderness and rich flavor.
@@Mister-Mayhem37 no bad questions 🙌 Picanha is a cut of beef popular in Brazil and other Latin American countries. In the US it’s often called Sirloin Cap or Rump Cap
That's one of the most popular ways of grilling Picanha in Brazil. The first roast sear puts some internal temperature, then it's almost fool proof to finish the steaks. Great video!
Ive made this two times and it was awesome both times. I had a side of mushrooms with garlic and butter in chicken broth, and i used wood sorrel instead of and then with parsley. I liked it both ways and everyone raved about it.
Good job! I like how you kept your seasoning simple, so you can really taste the meat. I would have added some pepper and oregano, just my personal taste.
You should still cut Picanha with the green after it’s cooked as well. It’s the only cut I know if that ends up more tender that way. I didn’t believe it until I tried it, but it’s more chewy if you cut against the grain to eat.
I remember the first time I cooked a Picanha I didn’t cut it into individual steaks I cooked it whole on a frying pan it wasn’t my best work I managed to get a perfect crust but it was cooked slightly unevenly it still tasted great though
Beautiful Golden Skin so delicious. picanha sliced are my favourites with Lavendar Strawberry shaved ice and purple Taro mochi ice cream on the side. 🍴🍛 🍧😝
Those steaks are beautiful. Just when I thought they couldn’t get any better, you create that delicious garlic, butter, parsley and hot sauce to drizzle over them. Bro, my mouth is watering!! 🥩🤤😋💯
I gotta come over and eat with you dude!!!!! You make it look so easy and so freakin tasty, that my wife is asking me to change the meals in our restaurant menu to your style!!!! Thank you for your expertise!!!!!
That looks amazing and the picanha? Is that also called a tri-tip? Because it looks a lot like a tri-tip. Is there a difference or are they the same kind of meet.?
On a Santa Maria… that way when you baste, the buttery juices are caught, searing off not only the meat, but the juices infusing that much more flavor…. What do I know I’m just a guy from Southeast Kansas…
Best steak recipes I have seen online hands down!

hey man I've seen many youtubers talk about cutting with the grain , how do you find the grain??
Picanha doesn’t have grains, it doesn’t matter the way you cut
It’s the lines that run thru the meat if you look at it very closely
@@jayyyagustin ohh ok got it
@@cassiositta8483 I've never bought this cut , that's quite interesting. Is it like tender that's why it doesn't matter which way you cut it ?
