It’s not rare the good boss just transforms before the evil boss and when the good boss transforms it does too much damage too fast for the evil boss and kills it before it can transform
He didn't even think about pressing the plus button so he just went ahead and started looking for stuff for the new factions when he just had to simply press the plus button and boom you can put the factions on your faction bar

Also there are a BUNCH of new abilities that appear exclusively for use in the Unit Creator, this includes the OG Dark Peasant impale, which is as absurd as it sounds.
I think the death bringers are like that because they have the same op 1v1 build as a custom unit named "santa claws." the y most likely specialize in 1v1 or melee combat.
Chronomamcer are OP my guy if they take at least 1/4 of their hp they will Transform into Chronosmaster and from there on out they rekt They can Stop evil unit on spot and if they do Friendly Fire on good unit ( Team based not Faction based ) they will speed up like that Cheerleader
