You should check out the video that "Uncut Angling" just put out in regards to that barotrauma study. Seems like one reason why many of those crappies didn't survive is because of the net. The fish don't swim straight down to bottom, they swim down at an angle, and because of the net they were bumping into it and it was preventing them from swimming down. Really informative video that has some other tips for releasing fish from that depth.
Best memories ever ice fishing for crappie with my dad. We never had a fish finder but he always found them. Love what you do and thanks for sharing.♥️👍🏼
i watched that video too and it was a real eye opener. Too many died for me to take the chance of catch and release in those depths. Well done out there.
Hey Scott would you mind telling me all your setting on your marcum? I’m not sure why mine have so much statics even tho I’m not close to any other flashers. TIA.
Biggest otter I have ever seen was over Five feet long and that was on the chairs river in Waltham ma it was running on the ice it's foot marks in the snow were all most 7' feet apart. That was 15 years ago. I'm in SC now no more ice for me. I do miss it good hunting God Bless marry Xmas
idk, they look 13+. lol Honestly I could careless if they are eaters or breeders..yadayadayada. Keep what you want bro and keep fishing. Thanks for mentioning the video on barametric pressure. I searched for the video and found one the MN dnr did with Angling Buzz. Very informative. The real threat to fish are people fishing deep and practicing catch & release.
Just finished watching your trapping video and I hit hit the like button to many times or something. Now it disappeared not sure what happened. Hope I didn’t screw something up lol

I notice you are lifting more than jerking the rod, it works great on panfish, I am going tomorrow morning on a 120 acre lake.
Nice !
This is why your the boss....
Excellent catch on a new lake. Would like to have seen you tie into a nice pike but know how that goes 😊
Nice haul! We just might have to drive out that way again. Not looking good here in NY.
I just fished with Mike Stein up there. Pounded on the crappies 👍
Mike's a great guy and a great Fisherman!! I'm sure he put you on a great lake!
@@330Maniac Definitely! I'll be back in February hopefully to get on some big crappies
Very nice video, Scott. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

why did you keep looking down the lake? Just curious. Great video!
I've heard stories of a guy chasing people off the lake. I was waiting for him to come try that shit on me 🤣
I’m jealous!👍🏻😎🇺🇸
👍
Hell yeah Scott, I pounded some slabs on my local shithole the other day on the Dinner Bell from Frostbite.
That was a smash fest !!
Biggest crappie I ever caught was 18 3/4 inches long and I never placed in the fishing contest. 40 years ago
No ice here yet, guess it’ll be next year😊
Brought everything but you forgot me I want to go, Jason Mitchell showed video of post trauma 👍

And just why do I end up feeding the fish with the bait, instead of catching them? 🤨
What lakes that now? Lmao😅
Yeah I’m from dl area I wanna know also lol
