Am only halfway through your video and omg I have learnt so much. I can see myself watching it over and over again. Awesome job ... I will deffo use the feature that speeds up the Adirs alignment.
I really like the way you present your videos - better than a bunch of regular streamers in my opinion and I think you said you’re ex ATC which brings an interesting perspective - more please! :)
Thanks for your comment Tim, I've actually flown a bit too privately which I didn't mention (I think quite a few air traffickers do). Regarding more videos, I wish I had the time!
Hello, Wonderful tutorial. I'm long time Sim Pilot from MSFS DOS v., I was off 10 years from sim. However, FS 2020 with the realism is jut above the blue sky with the FlyByWire Experiment program to flying aircraft and SimBrief OFP is WOW. THE MCDU is was totally new to me. However, I managed the SID, STAR, CROUSING, APPROCHING, but I had problem with the LANDING. In your tutorial, you ringed the bell for me what have to do before reach the glideslope to make safe landing. Thank you for the nice job. Safe flights...👍👍 5*
Just finished the video, brilliant tutorial! Well presented and you explained everything so clearly. I've jotted some notes down from the video and will keep practicing my flights, thank you.
Comparable to some professionals here on yt. First vid. First Hit. To newbies more explanation would fit. All in all satisfactory vid. Good explenation at all compared to some entertainment wannebees here in yt.
If I understand correctly, by using Ctrl-1,2,3,4 etc for pre programed views. Or Alt-1,2 etc for views programmed by you. Use Ctrl-Alt-x to program an Alt key.
@@gazzis Ok i will try that but on flaps for example, on my screen it shows percentages AND a bar from 0-full. your screen just showed the percentage. so much slimmer than mine. it looks so much better than my gauges.
Hello, I love and I freak out your videos. They help me a lot. Suige so, only as you know. 🤩 But I have a problem. And it is that I am learning to configure the pan of flight in the MCDU, but when arriving at the parter of "Init". I don't get the option to auto fill with the "Init request" option. In fact, I get the whole screen laid out differently. I don't know what to do. I have tried with the 3 versions of fly by wire, the stable one and the other two. I assume srra because it has been updated since the tutorial. What do I have to do to avoid having to complete it by hand? Thank you very much 😊!
MCDU MENU (Button)>AOC MENU>INIT/PRES>INIT DATA REQ is working for me today 8 Nov after updating the Development version. I tried it before uploading the simbrief flight plan into the flypad and tried it again after uploading it and it has worked on both occassions. However, I admit also not seeing the option recently so I can only assume it's reverted. I could go on but essentailly it's working now.
Hey, my navigation does not change like yours did at 1:16:01 and various times throughout. Mine remains on "BPK" - resulting in my distance actually increasing through 300 and 400 rather than decreasing as yours did in the video. Any reason why my nav stays on BPK and doesn't change as I go through waypoints?
Thank you for publishing this wonderful video. Thanks to you, I learned a lot of things about the A32nx, but unfortunately there was a problem at the SID and STAR stage. I couldn't see these points on departure or arrival section. I'm using latest stable version of FlyByWire a32nx which is v0.10.1 and I am not a Navigraph subscriber. So I don't know if the problem is on the plane or on the flight plan. I've researched but I couldn't find any solution. Could you help me to find out where the problem is?
@@gazzis I saw STAR for once and it wasn't according to my flight plan. For example Simbrief planned my arrival runway to 24L runway but I could set approaching only for 24R runway. After that, I tried make flights to diffrent airports that always be busy, but it's never worked again :(
Thanks for the tutorial. Very helpfull. Just one thing. The route on the VFR map seems to be a big mess. And i dont get a green line route on the display. Oh an stock ATC goes completely quiet. Can't even obtain IFR clearance, even if the button is there sometimes. Any ideas? Thanks again.
I have a problem with SID and STARS: simbrief tells me the sid and the star but in the mcdu I can't find the one that it gave me in the planning. I am using the last airac from navigraph and the mcdu is confirming that.
Got some more issues now haha, i'm trying to copy your flight and after following all your steps im getting a "F-PLN DISCONTINUITY" between LAM and BPK in the flight plan. So essentially i have a gap on the green line on the display. What could be the cause of this?
Hello, im from indonesia. Can u speed up using simrate when cruising using this aircraft? Me… when using default aircraft able to speed up but when using fenix cant :(
hello, I have followed all the steps and when i press init request- The scratchpad says UPLINK INSERT IN PROG' and doesnt do anything after that. Any assistance will be appreciated.
i stepped away from this game for months because of constant changes fixes and then breaking of other things. The flighplans with simbriefs weren't working well with this aircraft and it wouldn't follow the waypoints. Is this fixed now? They had done away with the internal flightplans within the msfs because those didn't work then they went to simbrief and those didn't always work either.
Followed this to the letter, but still cannot get ATC to give me IFR , will not show up , just VFR, will try the stable version to see if thats the problem..
FS2020 ATC will not work with a SimBrief Flight plan to my knowledge, it has to be fully created in the FS2020 World Map editor. I've just carried out this test. I updated the 32NX today (9 Jul) developer version, opened FS2020. Opened World Map, selected the 32NX, created IFR flight plan EGLL to EGPD (so not simbrief). In Flight Conditions select Multiplayer Off, Air Traffic - Live Traffic, Wx & Time - Live. Fly now gave me the 32NX with the World Map flt plan in the MCDU. Opened ATC window, selected HTW ground, requested clearance and all worked.
@@gazzis I think msfs2020 automatically putting flight plans made on the world map into the mcdu has been a feature for a while. So I assume if you make it in SimBrief but not in the simulator itself, you will have to manually enter your flight plan into the mcdu and file it to be able to get an ifr clearance from the in game atc.
When i have done my flight plane in the flt by wire thing and when im loading in to te game in the 320nx is my flight poan a straight like can you pls help me

Thanks. I know the A32NX has been updated several times since I made this but hopefully it’s still relevant.
I appreciate you, sir. This video helped me a lot! very detailed and informative. Will watch this religiously till its stuck in my head. Cheers.

Further to reply below another change is that PAX are now loaded via the flypad in GROUND>PAYLOAD, not via Weights/Balance in the MCDU MENU.

Is Simbrief picking the correct runway? SIDs are specific to runways so they would have to match what your selecting in the MCDU.
@@gazzis I found a solution selecting the sid according to the transition point written on simbrief

This aircraft is different from the Fenix, which costs money. This one is free
You can speed up the sim rate to 2 with the flybywire. Haven't managed to get it any faster than that.
