Thanks Roughrider Guy. Been following ya for awhile now. I used to analyze the games with my Dad after every game. He passed away a few years ago. You fill that void. Thanks! Go Riders!
I'm glad that you mentioned the play calling in the last minute of the game...i thought in the moment that is was coaching scared and not to lose. wish they would have got aggressive and ended it there.
The rule needs to change from “any contact to head or below knees” to “except when the offender is forced into QB by opposing team or the QB makes a football move and puts himself at risk”
That is the dumbest rule, When I was there I celebrated with some other rider fans and half the people left the stadium and as I was leaving I hear the game is so on, your description about the command center was perfect. When I left nobody seemed to be happy or sad it was just a tone that the game did not matter, one RedBlack fan said to me "We both won, lost and tied in the same game, we had all 3 results" Overall it was one of the weirdest game I have ever seen, it started with 3 1/2 quarters of soccer basically, because all they were doing was kicking it back and fourth to everything that could have possibly gone down. Great Video!, Go RIDERS
@@NickDunner One thing I don't like about TD Place is both teams have to be on same side of field and stand right next to the field. Always caused problems.
Yes Ambrosie may have disappeared but still getting a big paycheck for nothing. He brings nothing to this league. We need a better leader with solid ideas and somebody that is accountable and available to this fan driven league to grow the game and bring fans to stadiums not somebody that hides all year.
I’m starting to believe the idea behind letting the ball bounce on a kick return is to try and pull a defender in for a no yards. The 15 yard penalty is an automatic improvement over most of Mario’s returns. Problem with that of course is he never gets set up for a return and his cover team always ends up being too close to him and they can’t open or clear any lanes. If it is in fact intentional to let it bounce then it’s little more than a bandaid to mask our poor return game. Either way it’s time for something different. This tie was difficult result to accept, the only thing that made it acceptable was the Stamps losing to the Argos. Still at the top in the west which is fantastic but it would be nice to be a bit more in control of our games.
Thanks for comment. I'm not a fan at all of letting punts bounce. Can get way to many bad bounces and end up with a fumble. What I am amazed at is on kick offs if the returned bobbles ball and delay a bit seem to open up some lanes. It's what happened on Alfords last runback. Maybe there is something to a bit of a delay.
After hearing Mace mentioned the flag was waved and the whistle was blown at the recovery of the football game. The command center had no contact to the field which should have been called under review. It was not called until minutes later. I am against cut blocks, and it should go on offense. Players don't carry parachutes while in the air. If offense cut blocks then don't pull up or change direction til the CFL changes the ruling. I just read on Kelly he was alleged to have corroberated 3 out of 6 of his claims against him.
As a bomber fan i must admit the cfl official command center reveiws this year are horrible and a disgrace to the league. Its unreal how many blown calls theres been this year.
Nothing will change until they get rid of Ambrosie and the Random centre. The Riders played very well with their replacement players but it doesn't matter what they do as long as the Random centre and and Ambrosie are around. I wish I knew how to get rid of them both Ambrosie does nothing for this league. But only makes the whole thing look bush league. Mr. Mace wonders why we only have four championships its because of stuff like this. Do we even have to watch next weeks game or just contact the random centre before the game and see who they want to win. Very disappointed in how they are ruining our great game.
the game was bad enough, but the officiating was horrendous and that roughing the passer compete bullshit they need to define what roughing the passer is cause this is getting ridiculous. like whats a player suppose to do ? break the laws of physics ?? dice was even PO'd and that call benefits his team
I think the command center was fair on interjecting when they did at the end of the game. The play was a turnover and from my understanding, all plays that result in a turnover or score are reviewed. My concern was the cut block leading into it. I will have to look at it again but I thought it was a cut block.
All the reffing is terrible, first the missed interference that Mase had to use a challenge, then the command centre interferes when it wasn’t needed . It’s at the point now that one can’t celebrate a score without scanning the field or waiting to see if command is going to stick their nose in to the situation !
True, turnovers and scores are automatically reviewed, but a penalty cannot be created/called by the command center if it’s not called on the field. That takes away from the integrity of the game
Idiot rulings like this helps support the reason i travel yearly back from out of province to Regina to see a Riders game. i refuse to give my money to a non-Riders team coffers (a lot of people I know do the pilgrimage home). I know i should support my team on the road and all but the obvious bias against the Riders year in and year out just burns me. I just can't stand the refs and the Command Centre and their seeing eye dogs. This league takes Rider fan support for granted.
I'm a roughrider fan but this was a horrible game on both sides. Neither team deserved the win so i think it was poetic justice that it ended in a tie.

For sure I just hate when they give up the ball and not give a good shot at killing the clock. Way to safe playing calling. Thanks for comment.
@@roughriderguy especially coming off of a huge interception and momentum swing!
Love the insight from a lifelong CFL fan. I have a feeling things are going to turn around for the better with the Command Centre. Starting tomorrow 😉
Thanks for comment. Hope your right about command centre.

Be good to see a rule adjustment but don't think anything will be done. CFL might look at it for next season.

Thanks for comment. You can bet the players were the most disappointed. After banging their heads together for hr end up a tie.
@@roughriderguy It was surprising how loud TD place was, Toronto and BC were dead and I felt it was almost like Mosaic
@@NickDunner One thing I don't like about TD Place is both teams have to be on same side of field and stand right next to the field. Always caused problems.
@@roughriderguy Isn't every east team like that? I have also never been a fan of it, Its also better for the players and coaches to have more room
The Head Ref should review the play on the sideline and make the decision.
No need for a "command centre"
That would be something like soccer. Could be an improvement.
3 weeks without Deontai Williams & AJ,,,, 3 weeks without a WIN
Think Deontai is ready to go. Not sure why he's not back in. He was one of the leading tacklers when he was in.

Ambrosie probably sits in his easy chair watching tape to find out which players he can fine. His only idea of making money for the league.
Horrible call. We should've won that game. I agree with you.

No, Kelly is not cleared srtill has a review to go@roughriderguy
I can't believe we had the game and lost it .
Yes Sayles had such a good chance at picking one off would of ended the game sooner.

I tried to see if McClain got hit below knee but hard to see. Either way he has no chance of not end up flying into qb.

@wintertime331 but it was a play that resulted in a turnover so that play makes sense for the Command center.

I hate ties. Usually the overtime rules work out good and one team wins. Refs step in with their wisdom and spoil the game.
