I remember playing my university supernatural sims and when it was night time, I went into Town Mode and heard this song for the first time. At that point, I completely forgot what the hell I was planning to do and just stayed and listened to the song. It took my breath away, to say the least.
This always make me feel sad and happy. I've grown up with the Sims. It's always been such a big part of my life. Will never let this game go. It'll always have a place in my heart. Sound cheesy and weird but it just means so much to me.
My longest lasting Sims 3 file is over 14 years old now. With story progression on, only 14 of the original 87 neighborhood Sims of Sunset Valley are still alive. The sims that started out as babies and toddlers are elders, and all but a few children are in their final days, and most have already passed. My Sims were a father and child, the former of which has long since passed. the daughter is now at 281/192 days and she doesn't carry death flowers. This song always gives me a sense of nostalgia and mourning-realizing what now is, and remembering what once was.
Finally found it! I spend over an hour searching stuff like "Sims 3 moonlight falls map song" and "sims 3 supernatural soundtrack" before I realized I could find it in the actual game in the options, under music... xD
+Common Band Girl So very, very beautiful. When I go into Map View and get this playing, it's very hard not to forget what I was doing and simply listen.
+Common Band Girl I can't prevent myself from entering and leaving Map View till I get this track if I know I'm going to be snooping at the city for a while. It's a waste of time, yes, but hearing this play makes it worth it. While the rest of the tracks are alright, they are bland, especially when compared to this.

I went to map view about to bid my sims return home from an evening of ice skating and seasonal merriment when this song began to play.... Man what a combination.
I was watching Sims videos and this started playing, and last time I played Sims 3 was in 2015 I think, I honestly wanted to cry because it took me back to those times, and I remember this one so well, it's so beautiful and I'm glad I found it again today 💙

This beautiful piece reminds me about my childhood and my childish dreams. I imagined that I was american or canadian kid/teenager and my life was like in every american teenage movies I have watched. It's so sweet and makes me feel nostalgy. Sometimes I made my dreamlife in the Sims 3. Thanks a lot to gamedevs for that 🖤

This is an unusually sad theme for The Sims. It's like a call-back to the Sims 1, when most of the build themes are piano-based.
