My very first "proper" car was a Proton in 1992. It cost £2995 new and the passenger side mirror was a £250 option. Great car though 🙌🏻

Possible but not test. Regular person will not build rev every time they wanted to accelerate tho.

How does the integrated map perform compared to Waze ?
The map is more like google maps than Waze. Waze has more features which the incoming maps don’t have. I seldom use the default navigation. But the interface and maps are good tho.

Not sure as I just done a test drove. The car still new and haven’t run in. I managed to clock 11.xkm per litre by that time. Real petrol consumption might need owner to provide after use the car for a period of time

what about the wind noise during high speed? is it like x50 super noisy?
Wind noise is better insulated than the X50
one is suv and another is sedan. Even my tuscon has wind noise at above 100kmph. the wind noise of x50 is not so bad even at 140kmph. Its there but not annoying. Anyway, x50 is fun to drive.

@@JackLee97 not me, and not my wife either. she is driving it everyday without complaint. her sister drove it several times also no complaint. Initially already noticed some wind noise during the testdrive but nothing annoying. The car driving experience easily win over any negative things about it.
u should have notice it when u test drive and test it kaw kaw and at a longer distance and made up your mind after. So, since u already bought it and find it unacceptable to live with the noise, then perhaps time to consider a change of car. just saying.
The door when you shut it in sounds so dense.

fuyoooo, soo silent, i think better than City lah S70 but compare to Civic, hmm i don't think close enough (such a body size & power) but for Corolla, yes S70 won if compare with Corolla altis
im also deciding to purchase civic or s70 aiks... civic felt like dosent worth for paying x2 money

is ok, i have purchased civic highest spec, 2.0 ehev, i think it worth 1.5 to 1.7 the price, but definitely dont worth 2x the price with is 170k, but overall i think civic is a much more better car compare s70

Depends on your budget. Here are some quiet tyres for your reference. Michelin Primacy 4, Bridgestone Turanza T001/T005, Continental Comfort Contact 6 CC6 etc.

Depends on what car you experience previously and what type of suspension you like. I will put this as 40/60 40 on the firm side 60 on the soft side

I don’t think anyone can get a real petrol consumption right now. As all car are just for test drive and yet any owner receives their car yet.

Thanks for the review! How about comparing s70 flagship vs chery omoda 5? Currently driving persona 2017 and prefer a upgrade. Love their technology and interior design. I love sedan car but S70 using 3 cylinder engine while omoda 5 is a suv but it looks fancy and more pricy.
First of all do you wish to drive a SUV or a sedan? That is the key point. Both also offer best value. Of coz if O5 you might need to pay more as it is more expensive and at the same time more fancy as well. Still back to your personal preference.

I cannot not test the fuel consumption during a single test drive. You can check out other channel that have the information. But I got the respond from the owners that this is one of the better fuel consumption car in the line up.

Cuma 1 keburukan saja...3 cylinder...aduh, walaupun kereta power dah dengan turbo engine, tapi hati masih tak sedap masa tau hanya 3 cylinder, XD
3 cylinders memang tak bunyi sedap dan ada gegaran kat engine (dalam kereta tak akan feel). Tapi power and smoothness lagi best dari 1.5NA yang offer kat b segment lain.

中国的b segment=这里的c segment 因为我们是跟着日本的定位 日本人矮小所以日本车都会比较小

Car is very beautifully crafted but that 3 cylinders just kills off my interest.
Sometimes things will get adapted. At first I also skeptical about the 3 cylinders engine which might vibrates, noisy and extra maintenance on engine mounting etc. But after I spend times with the X50 for more than 3 years, I kinda appreciate it to be smooth, powerful, no vibration found in interior to date and the sound insulation against the rattling sounds from the 3 cylinders are better than some 4 cylinders engine. At the end still up to your personal preference.

Reverse can hear engine noise nvh still Toyota and Honda better
When car go still, you can hear a bit of engine sound due to the 3 cylinders engine. But when acceleration or cruising it is definitely quieter than Vios and City
Torsion beam is a real letdown
So far the car handles quite well. This is not a sport sedan la. This price range…even Mazda also use torsion beam ma.
