Rabbi Lopatin spoke very very well and said exactly what he should. Sadly, it appeared that no one was listening. This is the voice of the Jewish Community. Rabbi Lopatin should not have had to speak at that meeting like a student or parent. The University should have gone out of its way to invite representatives to a private meeting with representatives of the Jewish Community and should have apologized at that meeting for what is happening on its campus. I'm so glad Rabbi Lopatin spoke and spoke so well. But, I personally believe that he and the entire Jewish community he represents, was treated in a demeaning manner.
