This shows the level that D1 players are. He only started trying in the end. But the whole game you could see how fine-tuned his game was. Those step-back 40-foot shots werent hard for him and if he wanted to he couldve played 100% from the beginning and kept getting simple drives to the rim or pull up shots in mid range and take Kenny 21-3 or just 21-0. His defense was above Kennys level too as shown by that tip in the end when Kenny really tried to get that shot off.
This is just how it is, again at the D1 level. People forget that the D1 level isn't far under professional basketball, of course the NBA is a league of its own, but at the D1 level players have adapted their game to a very elite level it isn't bad on Kenny that he wouldn't last against it, rather just the reality of basketball.
remember this is the bottom rung of D1 as well, not a top school for basketball and a walk on.
Roy’s channel the score was 11-0 and 11-2 in about 6 min of straight play time

Just a side note, this guy Roy was also the first product management intern at DoorDash, was the youngest ever scout for Seqouia Capital (the world's top venture capital fund), and is going to receive both his Bachelor's and Master's in CS from Stanford.
