Am I the only one who thinks it is too easy to score goals in this FIFA? Goalkeepers are terrible. I dont feel anymore that I play real like football.
ALPOKSZ I get triggered with how slow the defenders turn and react. They basically made dribbling op and made defending so much harder.

ALPOKSZ yeah I feel the same way it takes less skill now to score in the game and it's resulting in high scoring games which is just making the game way to arcady
For me its perfect, i want a GAME, not a simulation like last year, even then its still boring as hell to have a low scoring game, i love how this year is more arcade style

I haven't seen a single game with less than 5 goals...It seems that goal-to-game ratios are going to be that of fifa 10 & 11 and i don't know how to feel about that...
FIFA 17 seemed to have far more realistic scorelines. One goal contribution per game was a decent record for an attacker.
This game is kinda reminding my of FIFA 14 in terms of the scoring. Looks like a good striker could easily average 2 or 3 goals a game.
Give it time, start of fifa 17 everyone was banging them goals in until everyone knows how to defend

Because defending is harder, give it 1 month then people will learn how to defend and the scorelines should come down to atleast 3 goals per match

Thank youuu!! Mate, I thought I was the only one that was noticing that the keepers were broken. But they have been like that for as long as I can remember. That is the reason why I’m not buying Fifa anymore unless they fix keepers and make better keeper animations. They use the same damn animations every year. I’m tired of them, they look outdated and unrealistic.

Gonna sound petty but my problem with 18 is goals. The net BARELY moves, honestly look at scoring a goal on Fifa 17 and then compare it to 18. 17 is far more satisfying, this needs to be patched in my opinion.

2)Long shots are stupid
3)Low Driven shouldn't be in the game tbh. Ruined the game last year and it's ruining it again, no one even does any other shots, it's becoming repetitive and boring
4)When you score a goal it doesn't even feel like you have, plus the ball feels so dead
5)This game feels like PES the way the ball moves

PLEASE keep DTG as it was, separate from RTG. DTG is amazing because it shows how much coins could be made just by doing the draft... your choice either way, i understand it's quite a grind but i think it's nicer for viewers!

Guys when I go on to Fifa after the intros it'll glitch and keep loading with the 18 icon , I have to keep hard resetting my Xbox, anyone having same problem? It eventually works but it's annoying and is using my trial time!! And just bought icon edition and I don't want this to continue when the games out

Tbf, the defending is too hard... I don’t consider myself an awful player but I ain’t brilliant. And I think it’s way too difficult. I’m sure as the game goes on I’ll get better and that but right now, damn it’s tough
This dude acts like every player is going to be his sub,like pick max 3 players that have a good card,then you just need chemistry and rating.Unless you find someone else you want to sub on insted,pick the highest rating.
Every taken shot in fifa 18 is perfectly hit, like it goes in the top corner or bottom low. That's the point EA should improve in, like every shot is almost perfect. And like you said the GK are shit!
Also I was playing fifa 18 the other play. If you play your matches for a longer time the goalkeepers seem to more skilled in saving shots. Don't know why...

Nep do you think that on the draft the players goals and assists etc should show afterwards, say when you thought paulinho scored 2 and you tried to check on his details, it should have his appearances and goals (in draft only) think this could be a great feature to find out who performs in the draft. Instead of saying (other clubs) it could be (past drafts) and then obviously instead of (your club) it could be (this draft) just a thought

It's the goalkeeper positioning , when I played the closed beta i played pro clubs and the my gk was getting chipped from outside and inside the box with out me even moving him from his own position like he would just get chipped it was crazy to overpowered. They need to do something about chips

Nep it's your first draft mate. How'd u miss that monreal move. Put him in instead of Milner and swap mustafi to LCB. They get the arsenal strong link and keeps Chem the same
I’ve never really understood the kickoff problems, isn’t the entire point of having a stagnant AI at the kickoff just making the game more realistic? Teams usually are not quick of the bat and going with a normal flow right after kickoff, always takes a minute for them to find their groove
That second header goal you conceded in your second game would be much more believable if EA were smart and gave ronaldo a 5 star weak foot. Cause lets be honest the guy is pretty much ambidextrous with his feet

I think it's definitely that the keepers were nerfed. They simply aren't making saves and allowing shots in they should really be saving. I feel like it was due to feedback from the beta, saying it was too hard to score
They still have not fixed the time exploitation in fifa. Take some div 10 person against the best div 1 player in the world and the div 10 guy will win 100% of the time if you give him a free goal at the start. It's too easy to exploit time by passing it in the defense and to the keeper and too difficult to take the ball.

hi nep, just thought that there should be a consumable added that you get from packs that allows you to apply it to any player you want and it makes them a ones to watch item. do you think this would be a good concept as it'll make the people who have one really acknowledge real life football to choose the right player to put it on, loving the Fifa 18 content so far. keep up the great work
Gameplay is great but these shots/goalkeepers need to be fixed. Scoring a goal isn't even that exciting, never mind the dead feeling scoring in the first place.
You talk about people crying about stuff they don't like so they want it to change, and then you do the exact same thing and cry about goalkeepers, long shots, kick off boost and shit like that, stop being such a hypocrite

I just like the fact that this year it is a bit like fut 14 when the scoring was the easiest part of the game, when u have to out score your opponent instead of scoring the 2-1 goal and then sit back for 1 and a half halves and just defend.
Hey Nep, you havent commented on player stamina yet. Do you think player stamina is better this year? The demo has shown players to play longer but how was it on FUT?
And still people try to deny momentum. The player switching or terrible passing to lose possession or weird behaviour by a decent gold player all indicates something in the game working against a player.
Keepers are absolute AIDS this FIFA, I thought they were bad on FIFA16 but by god they're even worse!
On the topic of long shots or goalkeepers being an issue, I think most of it is the goal keeping.. sure some crazy long shots go in but that happens in real life to but the goal keeping in this game is horrific and like you said they don't even dive or attempt to get in front of the ball, they just fall over

My keepers have made sick saves in last minute of the game like 3times and when I dribble whilst sprinting it feels well weird what do u recommend??
I think defending needs a little bit of a buff, but nothing more than a 10% increase. I feel that keepers in general are broken. They are way too stagnant in the box and with longshots

Agree with the GK comment. I was being cheesy and used the de gea from the catalogue for my first few games and he was so bad. So I'm guessing all keepers are shit as his card stats are insane.
At 21:01 , yes Neymar has 77 long shots but you forgot that he has the Marksman chem style. It brings up his long shots to 87 and his shot power to 90
