I just purchased these for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, he idolized Kobe his entire career and has been shattered since Kobe’s tragic passing. Was this shoe a good selection? Other more “iconic” Kobes have skyrocketed in price beyond what I can feasibly afford, but I felt these were unique enough (especially in this colorway) to spring for.

I remember ballin on these back in 09's. I bought my true size 10 and they were too snug I couldnt wear my nike elite socks with them had to wear thin socks to make them fit. So I copped a 10.5 on the kobe 6... now I copped a 10.5 from snkrs hope they kept the OG sizing so I dont end up with a loose shoe.

As u said, at the time of the release they, they were a shoe that gave u all u needed to play ball. U didn’t feel em on ur feet and u could just do ur work.
During their release there were so many nba players wearing them. Eric Avar designed that shoe.
