although I went to church this morning, I had a feeling to watch this homily. I've been in a bad mental state recently and felt lost, that the life I thought was my plan was taken from me and I don't know where to go, how to hope for the future. God never fails to deliver messages that connect so directly to my situation every Sunday. This helped me to realize that I must wait patiently for His plans. The race is not over but just beginning. That He grants me things every day that I can't see because I am too consumed in what I didn't get. Thank you, Father Mike, and thank you, Jesus, for continuing to bless the hopeless. 🙏
Wow wow wow! Thank you God for putting Father Mike in my life! Thank you God for the three wonderful thankful things in my life that I do not deserve! Help me to finish the race with Faith Hope and Love forever, in Jesus name Amen!!
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Father Mike--Thank you for the homily, but also wanted to convey my very belated condolences on the passing of your mother. I am praying for her, for you, and your family. May you and your family know God's comfort in this difficult time.
Shame you don't believe in Jesus. 330,000 little boys in France were raped by 3,000 catholic pedophile priests, and it barely made the news, because people EXPECT that from catholics. Jesus said child rape was UNFORGIVABLE (Matt 18:6-14), and everyone who supported it will get eternal damnation. That means every catholic. There wil be no mercy and no hope for catholics.
We went to church with Fr. Mike on Sunday. It was amazing to listen to him in person! He’s such a great role model for the UMD students! Thank you, Fr. Mike for your wonderful message of HOPE and all that you do! You truly are a BLESSING! 🙏🏻
Thank you Father Mike, you might not be a professional athlete, but you are a fantastic teacher. God bless you for helping to keep us on our journey with the Lord, and happy Sunday!
He's certainly not a professional athlete. Here's the team he's on: 330,000 little boys in France were raped by 3,000 catholic pedophile priests, and it barely made the news, because people EXPECT that from catholics. Thank you Fr. Mike, I really needed to listen this words. We christians don't have to wait only for good times, we have to wait that God will be there. We christian don't have to wait a successful life but that through this life we can find God.
I'm a drug and alcohol counselor. I love my job, but it is a challenging field. It often feels like there is not a clear path and we in a crisis. Last year in need of more, in need of steady ground, I returned to church. I chose Episcopal because my grandma was Episcopal. Praise God that is receiving the Eucharist every week I met Jesus in a very real way. The job is still what it is. But I have found so much hope in God. God is there with me. And it has helped me have more to give my clients.
This one hit home for me. I've been failing and failing in many different ways lately. Hope has been hard to come by. I am not where I want to be in my life. I know I need to make some changes. If anyone sees this if you could please offer a prayer I would genuinely appreciate it,
Oh how I needed to hear and reflect on this message today! I also attended Mass at my local parish but was too overwhelmed by personal matters to assimilate anything the pastor said. Yes, i have failed publicly..more than once. I'm 63 years old and my life is not at all what I expected. Thanks to Father Mike, i will be writing down all the things I have to be hopeful and thankful for. God bless you Father Mike and God bless everyone listening to this homily!!
I appreciated this today. I’ve been in love with someone for years and my love for Jesus and his love for me keeps me patient and observant of becoming who I am in this place of waiting. I don’t need to win to love, and to be.
Thanks, Father Mike! WHen you mentioned the Iron Man, I expected you to tell the same story as usual, about the one last runner being cheered up :D (and it's a great story) But you surprised me with something else, nice :)
Also I don’t think the non music mass is worse. The female vocal here is beautiful, but not everyone like acoustic guitar, for example I hate it, guitar music bores me to sleep, I just don't like this strumming noise. I'm for electric guitar or rap or organ or silence
Bless you always , so so so good, thank you.

I just literally said yesterday, "My life is not what I planned." (The person I said this to laughed.) Father Mike's homilies give me hope.

This is a great Homily and really speaks to our Faith in a true and grown up way.God Bless you Father Mike
Thankyou so much fr. Mike….Praise be to Jesus, I just needed this messages. God Is here as I was hearing the message.
This Homily has inspired me and taught me the meaning of hope in a practical way.

Gostaria que escrevessem um livro com essas homilias.
Beautiful and inspirational homily Father Mike! Thank you! ❤️🙏🏼🥰

I've been in love with someone for years, too, though he died in 1978. Without Jesus, I would have given up and died.
Thank you Father Mike, for helping me to see hope and patience and faith in a new way. God bless you and the entire Ascension Team! ✝💜🙏

Hi Fr Mike, are you coming to the WACOM conference this year? It will be such an honor to have you in our country!
@FrMike I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of the apostles Creed. Would getting this tattoo be a sin?
No where in the true KJV does it say there is multiple Sundays in one year for Easter.
Seriously... A commercial in the middle of a Homily... WOW! So Sad!
It's not the holy Mass.

Who is it he is trying to inspire because a life of long suffering is just shit.
