      The Mandalorian. Kinda reminds me of Firefly in some ways. Best TV series there ever was!

      Definitely Mando. I’m loving Obi Wan but I love The Mandalorian. I don’t think Boba Fett deserves the hate it gets but the Mando episodes were the best. :)

      @@jomac841 As a Swede, I like the theme of Boba Fett, too. Same composer as Mandalorian: Ludwig Göransson. He has made the theme music with influences and a bit of a tribute to the Swedish children's book author Astrid Lindgen's film Ronja Rövardotter. I have it as my favorite.

    The name of the series is DR Koncerthuset. This building is custom build for transmitting concerts on radio and TV. The Danish name of the orchestra is Danmarks Radios Symfoniorkester.

      So that explains the extremely good quality of their recordings...

    I saw this live on 19th August 2021, and it was even more fantastic than this. This was likely recorded on the 20th or 21st. Many COVID-19 had just been lifted days earlier.
    I'll still recommend the "Gaming Legacy Medley" they did. The percussion section got to play around a lot in that.

    This one is great, another one you should listen to is the US Army band version of the theme. They put a heavy emphasis on the guitar and it sounds very western I love their version of the theme

      @Some idiot - there is also a "Royal Marines Band Service" version of that ("The Bands of HM Royal Marines", British, in case if somebody would be confused by the name: "Marines"). Both are quite good watch too, a bit different level, but still very good.

    And we all have in ears. We hear a mix, although we can mix a bit ourselves at the music stand what part of the orchestra we want to hear more or less of.

      @@DrumRollTonyReacts Yes, Sabine Bretschneider-Jochumsen is one of the first violinist in the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. She escaped from the former East Germany 3 weeks before the fall of the Berlin Wall, when she was 15 years old. She started in an East German music school when she was just 3½ years old and started playing the violin at 4½ years old, according to the first YT video below.
      If you search UA-cam for her name, you can find a few videos with her, e.g.:
      UMICHile Musicians Reconnecting - Sabine Bretschneider Jochumsen with Alejandra Urrutia - 2020
      Día 1 - Masterclass with Sabine Bretschneider Jochumsen, violin

    This was a thing of beauty. If you"re interested in hearing more of orchestral theme music, you should try out The Viking Suite from the series Vikings with Trevor Morris and Einar Selvik. This was filmed at the Krakow film music festival (2015) and it's worth looking into.

    Glad to see you are continuing the journey with the DNSO.
    I know it is rather long, but I hope you will also react to the Game of Thrones Suite and Rains of Castamere by DNSO - maybe find the small luls in the performance and split it over more than one video.

    • @mikeyb2932

      I gave a link to my Playlist with DNSO, on another video of yours, but it got deleted. Therefore I will just mention it here without the link. Also have playlists with other danish bands in case that catches your interest.

      @@DrumRollTonyReacts nothing bad that I could tell and certainly not on purpose. But then again I do not know if something unintentional could have gotten in there, like if you write 'therapist' is it actually 'the rapist'? (just an example).
      Back then I figured it was just because links was maybe not appreciated in general, so thought not a lot more about it.

    Bateson is not British, he was born in South Africa, but has been a Danish citizen for many years now, doing practically all his work here including as Agent 47 (which is a Danish video game series)

    • @DrumRollTonyReacts
      @DrumRollTonyReacts  9 місяців тому

      I was merely going off of the info provided by Google. Literally says "British actor and comedian" 😮 Nor sure what to say 😅

    • @agffans5725
      @agffans5725 9 місяців тому

      @@DrumRollTonyReacts ... They are probably mistaking him and the Agent 47 games of being British because of his name and his voice. He has lived and worked in Denmark for ages, mainly as a voice actor.
      There are actually many Danish actors working abroad, or some with a dual Danish-American citizenship because of their parents, like Viggo Mortensen and Scarlett Johansson (the highest paid actress in Hollywood), not to forget the old time Naked Gun comedian Leslie Nielsen.
      And actors who were born and only raised in Denmark, like Mads and his older brother Lars Mikkelsen.
      Not to forget Jesper Christensen who actually survived being the Spectre villain Mr. White in 3 James Bond movies, even killing off fellow Danish villain Mads Mikkelsen in Casino Royal, without being killed by Bond himself.
      And Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy) who end up killing each other in Game of Thrones.
      Amanda Collin ('Mother' in the HBO Sci-Fi series Raised by Wolves), Claes Bang (The Northman and as Count Dracula in the 2020 TV series Dracula), Connie Nielsen (The Devil's Advocate, Rushmore, Mission to Mars, Gladiator, One Hour Photo and Queen Hippolyta in the DC superhero films Wonder Woman and Justice League among plenty of other films) and so the list goes on.

    There has to be a click in the ears. I wonder if they winds have the in ears in order to time small nuances like the pitch bend we hear in the Quena flute. I would love to have a click and mix going on in my ears at all times. Lol.
    Also, I have NEVER been a fan of recorders, but this possibly has changed my mind. As long as an electronic patch is over the sound, I'm down! The freakin' horn section here. My god... This is one of my favorite themes right now.
    "It looks like you're...intimate with your bass drum." Ah yes...the good ol' "hump to mute." Percussionists have all the fun.
