I remember when they released the trailer back in 2011. I was in awe. Still am. Best colour grading / lighting I’ve seen in a video game so far. Feels like real life
This game will always hold memories for each and every PS3 user that’s ever played this. I’d get home from school either playing battlefield 3, or some random game. I would also like play for hours, having the fun of my life and what not, it was a good game until it was left behind, There were some interesting bugs and things you could like the C4 buggy. Or go around blasting every enemy on the enemy team with a shotgun on METRO. Hope y’all enjoyed this game much as I did!!

BF3 maps for Xbox360 and PS3 were 40% smaller than the PC version, which represented the true BF3 experience back then.
I remember my mom got me the Xbox slim and the BF3 bundle in 2011 during Christmas. I remember I played all day on our big screen Tv in the living room. Best Battlefield in my opinion.
I've been hoping for a digitally remastered version of this game. I used to watch my dad play on his PC. I was still in elementary school so I couldn't play. I really don't mind the campaign alone, so I want it to be released. I feel that there are many such expectations in Japan as well.
At that time, it was allowed, but now terrorists may be hit by the villain's FPS as "unscrupulous" and it may burn, and if Iran or North Korea is made a villain, terrorism and assassination will occur in the real world and the sale will be canceled. This kind of FPS is not possible now because it can be an apology riot.
Best Battlefield game i ever played, good story (atleast by DICE standards), the BEST multiplayer, and the fun Co-Op mode. BF4 could never compare in my eyes
Bf3 is amazing it truly captured what the us military was like from 2000-2014 from the equipment to the uniforms even the missions invasion of a country that has wmds I’m glad I played this game back when it was in its prime
Downloaded it again tonight been playing it in 2021 and for me the campaign is amazing, still well worth playing today if you haven't already, great missions very diverse and graphics amazing for the time it was made, will be continuing tomorrow and most probably finishing the game.
My dad got us a PlayStation and included was Battlefield 3 premium. He tried getting me to play but I didn't have that much interest in it so he played it himself. A couple months later, I figured I minus well try this game before (I've never played FPS so this was my first FPS). Everything about the game clicked, the immense detail of the game, feeling like you are actually part of the game, and so on. I can remember being stuck on levels on the campaign because of how difficult they were. I am very happy I had this game to be a part of my childhood, and I'm thankful that it was my first shooter experience. Still a diehard battlefield fan, but fuck BFV. This was the best Battlefield in my opinion.

When I get asked what's your favorite game ever. Battlefield 3 Multiplayer! The first 3 years because if you can recall every mode was populated to play what you wanted whenever you felt like it and renting servers was easy for consoles(I played on PS3)
this is one of the great examples how resolution boost can bring even older games to shine at their best... i tried it yesterday myself with my 6950xt at 4k... this shows that 4k IS just the way to go... i love it... i also tried halo 2, 3, halo reach and they look just astonishing, and make them render at 8k makes the anti aliasing even better.... i was surprised that halo reach was so well optimized... 4k is the way, and its worth it even with smaller monitor sizes like 27 inch
It's much better than the current 2042. BF3 was the first FPS game I played on PS3. From then on, I slowly fell in love with Battlefield. It is currently the most classic series that I think has a strong sense of immersion. No Complex technological weapons and equipment. Battlefield 3 ranks first in my heart
I still remember that it was very popular at that time to put C4 in the car and drive. Drive forward until you see the enemy tank. Jump out of the car and press C4 to start a suicide attack. Very interesting memories
Got this wonderful masterpiece on my 360 when the game first came out, then on my PS5 when the console came out. This game has always held up as one of the greatest BF games imo. Edit: Just realized my stupid ass was thinking of BF4 at the time lol. Even still, Battlefield 3 has been going strong as one of my top 5.
