I think the plant is called ctenanthe lubbersiana golden mosaic. The Ctenanthe plant family is very similar to calatheas as you noticed. Plant shopping is everything. Nice beginning in the new house, girl !!
@@lindseyrem I have a 4 of the golden mosaics! They needs lots of humidity and filtered water cuz LA water is too harsh for them. They're hardier than typical prayer plant varieties so it's an easier step up from your philodendrons and pothos :) !!

Check out Marshall’s and TJ Maxx for organization containers! So much cheaper and they have the exact same type of containers and baskets and so many more options!
That’s funny the last time I went to the container store I only bought one small item that I use everyday but when I first started going in there my brain would go into overload haha

You can pull the plant out from the bottom and keep that paper for protecting your plants when you move!
