LANC 2011 Ceremony

The 2011 Memorial Day Ceremony at the Los Angeles National Cemetery was well attended. Several television actors read Medal of Honor Citations. Steve Amerson performed some of his patriotic numbers and the Marine Corps Band entertained the crowd.

I did. You can probably tell my by user name that I am a David James Elliott fan which is how I found your video. So it was wonderful to see him because I knew he was the MC. But, that said, as the daughter of an AF fighter pilot, DIL of a Navy fighter jock, and with a brother (KIA) SIL, and a son that also serve the ceremony itself was a tremendous tribute. Yes, to honor the MOH was a very special touch. The scouts did an amazing job! I only saw one other vid, have to look again. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. I thought it especially touching this year that they chose to honor the MOH recipients... There are two videos there that are shorter that are also about the MOH guys and the flag ceremony. I hope you get a chance to see those.
