fantastic vibes, beautiful soundscape for a sunny day 🙂 love the pad textures, so rich and full. and all the little changes and variations and output effects you bring in throughout the arrangement, so satisfying. 👏 i realize that hardware jams need to be under 5 minutes, though i could've listened to this go on and on and on 🔥
Very Nice :-) .... i have a question regarding sp404 mk2 , can you record a jam session like you do on this clip to the sp404 mk2 back ? .....if yes , how it is done ? into the sequencer or into the looper ? thank you and wish you all the best with music :-)
It has a lot of shortcuts to get certain things done, but it's full featured and you can always find the answer on UA-cam or in their awesome manual. Definitely grab one if you're interested in making beats/music. I love my 404 mk2.
It’s a Bose Soundlink mini, I’ve had it a while so not sure if they still make them, but they will have something similar. Packs a punch for something so small.
even roland can pause this vid to take screenshot image for their next 404 brochure
I can't help but want an SP 404 MkII - what an amazing showcase of creativity.
Ah thanks. It’s a load of fun. Takes a while to get used to the workflow, but like most things it’s limitations force creativity
So dope.
Thanks so much 🙌
Absolutely lush Rob! Got to win for commitment to the brief. Bet you can't wait for the 'two-storey extension' challenge

Do you make the beats on the sp as well
Yes all made on the SP
Is the Bose speaker actually suitable for beatmaking in terms of latency?
Yeah I’ve not had a problem with it, it’s connected via cable rather than Bluetooth so there’s no noticeable lag.
How does the SP work without being plugged in ?
No hate just something I’ve notice
It can run off batteries 🔋
It’s runs off batteries (or a power bank) and can record internally to the SD Card.
Would you say the sp404 mk2 is good for beginners? Im seriously thinking about getting one.

What speaker is that? I’ve been looking for one so I can play my beats for people on the go!
