Huge leap for Decorah Goslings. Explore.org 28 April 2022

It took quite a while and a whole lot of courage for the five Canada Goslings to take the huge leap from their 60ft high nest. Only three of the goslings reunited with Mom and Dad on the ground, but a little human assistance added number 4. Sadly, one of the five didn't survive.

Watched this earlier along with a fu with all 4 safe in the pond with the parents. #4 got turned around in his direction but was found by RRP and reunited with the family.

@@jjfaris Incredibly sad, over 2000 people were watching the live cam and rooting for them all to survive but in the natural world 80% is a good result! :-)
