I literally found out about it almost 5 hours after it ended I watched about 50 DTI vids and joined the discord all the time but saw nothing as I was sleeping when it happened (3 a.m.-8 a.m)
They also did this with the old DTI game they released two times during 2024. I wasn't able to experience that either because those also last for like a few hours with barely any announcement. It's really not fair. :(
Same!! Actually while I was playing it I didn’t realize I would only have a couple of minutes in it because for me it didn’t make sense to close it so soon 😭 my brain didn’t even process their message and the closing time 😂😭

I think they don’t realize how important it was for everyone to play the old versions tbh because from the messages in the discord it sounded like this wasn’t something super special but tbh for me it was super special 😭😭
I found out about the rewind when I got a notification from Punkshroom where she was streaming the rewind event and many people in the chat were asking where to find the game and I decided to join Punkshroom’s server through her joins like other people did but had to wait in line for a while and by the time I found out where I can play the game, it was already over and I got booted to actual dti 😭
guys this is just a theory but i think maybe it could only be up for a few hours because i think there were some copyrghted old items in the event like the old madoka dress and some other items as well so maybe if it was up for longer than a couple of hours the game might have gotten taken down or caused more serious problems for the devs so this could be why it was so limited but i also think because it was supposed to be a fun new years thing i dont think this event wouldve taken a lot of effort to put together compared to any major update because (to my knowledge anyway pls dont quote me on this) it is just compliling old files and code that was already saved so i dont think the devs would have thought that deeply about it

it was available 18:00 trough 01:00 and i was sad that it closed in the morning when i checked it was gone:[ and i played for 1h but for some reason i didnt get any gamepass even though i have every gamepass

It was literally adjusted to my time zone but I had NO IDEA. The communication was so poor.
