Hey man thinking of doing an mechanized infantry impression like this same year and was wondering if m44 googles were that common to see.
You can wear goggles, you see them a little bit but I know my one buddy who does 11th ACR, I’m pretty sure he uses goggles for his impression

I got a question I’m doing 25th infantry around 1968, 1969 and I was wondering should I get a tropical rucksack or a lightweight rucksack?
Lightweight, Tropicals are more of a 70s thing, however if you have proof that the 25th used Tropicals in that time you can use them. Some things are by a unit ta unit basis
No I don’t have any proof of 25th infantry having them but my grandfather did have a tropical rucksack and he was in 101st so I’ll probably use a tropical for 101st

No, it’s fine after my grandfather died I can’t really find too much information online about half of the stuff
