Also not to add Work, but I know sometimes you’ll get trailers and they’ll have bad bearings. Maybe a check demonstration for bad bearings or possible bearing replacement and packing. just a thought.
Very good advice, for anyone. When I did the tires, I did a full inspection, but the video was way too long. One of the bearing buddies needs replacing. Maybe will do a separate video on that.
While I have your attention, let me ask you something.... The axle flip will be a pretty complex video, and I hate to just glaze over it for the build video. Do you think people would be interested in a separate video on how to do the axle flip? I can still include a time lapse segment in the build video, but since I will have the footage, it wouldn't take much to make a separate video about it. Just some editing time.
@@AllStarWeldingSC definitely time lapse for the build video with a reference to the upcoming video with the axle flip I definitely think people would like to see that very general purpose especially for anybody interested in building a welding trailer gives them that extra clearance and heights for off-road applications
Spring over flip. Drop sides because that won’t hurt anyone since they can be locked up anyways like normals sides which is a good feature. On the lights I’d go backed in to give the lights some protection and LEDs of course.
Great video sir. Just a thought, how about just a front bar with side pockets on both sides? Like a car hauler. That way you could add sides (if needed) with the pockets and you can use tie down pocket anchors?! Sides are trip points for me 😂. But, if you intend to put a tailgate / ramp, forget that thought. 🤣. Great video and series, appreciate your time and effort!
Thanks Jim... That's a really good idea. So, the front rail was going to be stationary. Removable sides is a great idea, and it addresses something that I thought of the other day.... The drop sides could easily get hit with the forklift by a careless operator. That may prevent it from closing to leave, and will have to be repaired. I was also thinking of making a small dovetail, and two adjustable ramps. That would make it a perfect golf car hauler.
@@AllStarWeldingSC that is correct on the front rail, it’s basically just a stopping point to keep from driving of the trailer. Solid enough to tie down to as well. The only reason I mentioned the “no sides” is I have a 6 x 12 trailer w/ a mesh wire gate and when I had my RZR (side by side) every time I got out of it I would have to step on the top of the rail to get off the trailer. Needless to say when it’s dark, wet or whatever it’s a trip hazard, but sides are handy too. Those are all great options you are looking at. Thank you again for the videos and content.
Oh, I know... Haha. I was watching one of them the other night and I noticed how often I do it. You could almost make a drinking game out of it. I really do need to work on that.
Looking good, sir yes on the spring over flip, also yes, on the drop sides in my opinion, And definitely LED oval light boxes

Right on

Metal box style lights are great and drop sides and axle flip
Yep. Everyone wants all 3. So I better get busy!
Spring over with drop sides and oval LED lights
That seems to be what everyone wants.

ALSO! One middle break light too as well with maybe 3 side markers on both sides since it being a 12 foot trailer!
Thanks! And noted. I found some steel boxes that work with regular shaped lights. That will save almost $50. I'm still on a budget with this.

Nice man, looking great.
Much appreciated
one drop side led lights spring over and one rear gate
I was thinking two individual gates, that could slide on a bar for adjustment. Thoughts?
Nice, but you need to learn how to quit saying "uh ,uh, uh"

loose the music.
Well, it was either that, or the actual noise, or silence. I had a radio playing in the background, and I got dinged by UA-cam.
