@Mi Movil I think I have to agree, but I'm still really happy with technicolor because it's just 2 songs on a ten song album, so it's mostly instrumental but you get a taste of her awesome singing

I was blown away when Yvette began to sing! Forrest has that amazingly smooth technique, David's bass tone is superb and recognizable! Keep it up, guys!
This band never ceases to blow me away with everything they do. It’s also so beautiful seeing Yvette’s confidence grow over the years, her skill is undeniable but watching them live 7 years ago and seeing this in 2024, the transformation it’s just awesome!
I wonder if this is a CHON type situation, where they'll only do vocals on a handful of songs, or if they're going to start incorporating vocals into their work moving forward. Always been a bigger fan of Yvette's solo stuff because her voice is great.
Steve Marston I Hope it’s somewhere in between, I think they’re already great as an instrumental-focused band and I want to keep hearing that, but I hope they do continue to incorporate yvette’s vocals in more songs, along with some featured vocalists maybe.

I actually love Covet so much and specially Yvette. Man, she’s helped me through so much w her insane music and literally everything she does, it brings me so much joy and i’ll forever be grateful of her! These guys are so talented, they deserve the whole world.
This song and this video are such Trojan horses. On the surface, it's dreamy, whimsical, lighthearted, math rock. Then, you listen and watch over and over again and realize that it's actually a sneak attack spiritual, wistful, melancholy meditation on the human condition and you break down into tears.
I suffer from Anxiety and Mild Panic Attack. When I feel like it's attacking again, I always listen to Covet, especially This song, Shibuya and Falkor. It calms me down. Thank you for the wonderful music Covet, keep them coming 👌.
I've been feeling instrumental music the last several years. I liked but didn't love when chon added vocals. I feel like I could listen to a whole album of this though. Her voice just compliments it so well
You should check out her solo stuff. As delighted as I am to hear her vocals in a covet song, I think it works even better in an acoustic setting. She also plays violin and piano exceptionally well. Yvette is a criminally underrated musician.
@@Chali_9 I don't even know how to understand this comment. 90s bands? What 90s bands? which genre? How do you even begin to compare one band to every band you could name from the 90s that probably isn't even the same genre.

Yvette is bringing back, the eighties "Bad Quack" guitar sound. For those of you who don't know what that is. It involves a Fender Stratocaster or a guitar with the same set up (Like Yvette's Ibanez Talman here) a compressor for extra sparkle and most importantly a chorus pedal. Here's a list of songs with that guitar sound that Yvette has brought back. - Men at Work "Overkill" But even more so on "No Sign of yesterday" - Tears for fears "Everybody wants to rule the world" - Dire Straits "So far away" - Marillion "Kayleigh"
This band is so incredible. Everything I didn't know I was missing from music listening's. Even their videos are so beautifully soft, fun and creative. I love seeing a band love what they do!
What a great guitarist. Certain parts sound like two guitarists, but she's an amazing fingerpicker. I have a feeling she's gonna do some more amazing things with her voice that will blur the lines between instrumental and sung music.
