No problem! Glad you found this helpful. To sheath a weapon, hit the focus input while the weapon wheel is open.
Is there a way to get heavy attacks to work like they did in ZD with + ? Kind of hoping Nixxes will add that when they fix the issue, but I also kind of doubt it.

Editing the Hunter´s Kit? Holding "R" allows you to edit the Hunter´s Kit. If you have changed "Using Hunter´s Kit" then it that key you need to keep pressed down.

Glad you found this helpful! Adjusting shadow quality seems to be the biggest single factor to regain some frames. Otherwise, if you’re not already using DLSS, I would turned that on to quality or balanced.

Yup I’m using 2 PCs. I have a kit.co link on all my video descriptions that shows all my gear. My gaming PC has a 7800x3D and 4090.

Do you any tips to get money in this game? Mid game? I know about the tremorstruck farm, but i cant beat him easy and i dont want to lower the difficulty.
Go and see how many large and medium machine cores you have obtained over time. Same for hardplates and some other items, chances are you have hundreds of those all selling for so much metal shards
It's good to know but unfortunately I've already gotten used to f for weapon wheel, as well as right mouse button to craft ammo.
The Tab doesnt open weapon wheel when simultaneously holding shift key to sprint. Any fix for that?
Whenever you mess with the registry, do not think that making a backup of the registry is a viable safety net. Because if you can no longer boot into Windows, you will have to jump through some serious hoops to restore that backup. Instead, make a restore point via System Restore. This way, even if you cannot boot into Windows, you can still recover much easier.

I have another problem with weapon switch on keybind (1-6), it always switches to an amunitiontype that i did not used before when i switch a weapon. Hope thats only a bug or easy to fix
Thanks! Hope it works well for you. Tapping the number keys to switch weapons always switches to the first ammo on that weapon. Tap the same number again to cycle through the ammos.
@@ArktixOfficial yes i know, thats not the problem :) . The Problem is, that it does not switch to the first ammo. But not with every weapon. For example, when i have Death-Seeker as my active weapon and i switch to my Forgefall (with hotkey 2) - itll always have the purple ammu active and not the standart. This never happens with my other weapons.
Hard to explain, maybe i should make a clip about that
EDIT: Always happens with every legendary weapon. if i switch to forgefall from a normal green bow itll always have the standart ammu, if i switch to forgefall from another legendary weapon itll always get the pruple ammu. confusing 11/10

I just accepted my faith and relearned using F to switch shit up. Destroyed my early game experience sadly, wish I found this earlier.
The new update yesterday made it possible to change this.
Is there enough resources to upgrade everything? New Game on Ultra hard is really kicking my ass, but im afraid of upgrading my weapons and then finding out 70 hours later i used up the last of some special resource on a bow I stopped using 40 hours ago.
Upgrade resources are all farmable. The exception would be greenshine, but there’s plenty of it to upgrade everything. So, yes, you can upgrade everything, but it will require a lot of machine hunting.

somehow, i managed to map the default menu key (escape) to "m" i did reset the tab key for the weapon wheel, but now i can only open the main menu overlay with "m" obviously, i changed the wrong key first. ofc, the registry backup won't load so i'm stuck trying to figure out how to fix this foolishness of mine. lol. nvm, i figured out how to fix it looking at your registry entries in the video. very cool. appreciate the info on the tab key, much better this way. cheers!
I would guess you edited the “PauseMenu” registry item instead of “PlayerMenu”. To load your registry backup, you should just be able to go to file>import. If that’s not working, check the “PauseMenu” entry and make sure the value is “f”. Hope that fixes it!

So I wanna get all the achievements and for that I need to play the new game + und ultra hard.
Is it possible to change the difficulty mid run to cheese this, or is the difficulty locked?
And if it's locked, am I able to change it again after completing the run, or do I have to play another new game+ to get the difficulty back to a lower level?

If I recall, you can't change the difficulty if you played on UH 😅, because it is locked.
So, if you're on Ultra Hard, you can not change difficulty. The only way to change the difficulty is to finish the main story and start a NG+.

Unfortunately, I have not found a way to do that.
Will this possibly cause any issues if they ever fix this issue through a pacth?
A patch would likely overwrite any edits you make, so it should be fine, but you should make a backup no matter what. Ideally, restore the backup before updating to a new patch. Or, just manually change those values back to their defaults be referring back to this video.
Just small note: "M" is always the standard Key for Map. Tab is more a global key, i.e. when scanning machines and you want to go directly to the machine catalog, you ahve to press "M" now too, and not "TAB" like before. All small price to play... Now i need to know how to get crafting on the Left Click...but no idea.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found one yet. I hope they add that.
I kind of like the map being on Tab so I just opted to bind my weapon wheel to Q instead.
Do think I had to shift some default keybinds around to make that work but it works fine for me
Gotta say though.. the keybinds for the melee attack combinations are so bad. Guess they had to be inventive with the playstation controls being limited but man I wish I could just bind attacks to different keys rather than pressing the light attack button in a specific sequence. Its just really awkward imo
Need to fix the day night cycle! It's currently bugged, and im not far enough in the game to go to the desert place and switch holidays or whatever!
You can change time of day at any shelter.

Edit. Sorry, might have come off a bit heated, I was stuck dealing with this and some savegame issues last night. It's all good now, but the day night cycle is still actually bugged. I going to report it. Going to a camp and the progress time feature is perma unavailable. There is a workaround, but it's in an area of the game I cant access yet.

wow. registry editing? not just an INI file change or something like that? Arktix is not joking friends. if you've never messed around in the registry, he's right about taking backups. Registry doesn't just control programs, it controls a ton of things in Windows so you want to double or triple check everything before making an edit or to be on the safe side, just wait for a patch to fix this.
Yeah editing the registry is definitely a bit touchy. Maybe should have cautioned people a little more in the vid haha.

I don't get why they changed it, along with defaulting other idiotic features (like focus pulse + "Interactive markers-OFF" as default).
I haven't played HZD for ~6 months and have just opened it a few days ago and I completely forgot the keybinds, having difficulty with the interface. Yet, whenever I wanted to access the weapon wheel in HFW, I was pressing Tab, instinctively. Why would you fk with that as a game dev (when all your players are used to things working a certain way) is beyond me...
