Full circle, the way Sonny really pushed Porter forward with his first major release and the buzz that came with one edm prodigy uplifting another. Such beautiful nostalgia- even the chord progressions and some of the piano vsts hark back to Porter's & Sonny's original soundscape. The perfect homage to times past.

Great music tells stories. You can hear his journey, hardships, perseverance, and growth throughout the whole album. He is back at his best.
I think part of what makes this song specifically poetic at least to my head canon is that both he and Porter Robinson have had a relationship of making music since 2010 (as PR was signed by Skrillex and came out with spitfire EP)

Skrillex always manages to end off his albums and EP's on an emotional and beautiful note, and I expected nothing less with this closer to Quest for Fire. God, this album is brilliant.

I teared up too! I told my wife after sharing this song with her (not really a fan of this music) that it was part nostalgia for my youth but more the 25 years of marriage with her through the struggles and difficulties that I was still with the one that I came with and so glad we've made it this far.

If anyone is wondering, the lyrics "Hand on my heart. And I, I wish time never mattered." comes from the song Time by Snoh Aalegra. She's a beautiful musical artist.
This is such a beautiful collab to end the album. That garage beat is so infectiously crisp and bouncy and reminds me of Moderat. And so interesting hearing Porter's typically lush and vibrant sound be "tamed" into a more stripped-down track. The way it interpolates Leave Me Like This at the end is a brilliant bookend to the album. And I can't get enough of that Snoh Aalegra sample in the drop, the melody works too well!
I've been here since "Note to Self." I met Sonny after a FFTL show long ago, he always gave his all. Would lose his voice constantly He's been doing different styles of music his entire life, and people need to see that as a part of his journey.
