I never really udnerstood why you lose relations if you negotiate a bit more money. The most stupid thing is that you lose renown by doing it. "Look at thesese greedy mercenaries trying to make money for risking their lifes unbelievable." Negotiator does not even change that fact which is really dumb.
it does not, but very very long ago when game world was actually more alive and orcs/bandit/goblin factions had prosperity mechanics and expanded it was apparently a thing to help you weight the risk.
Brotherman how on earth do you get 1050 renown on day 20 ? The other day I was having a spectacular run. EELI unexplored random map. 1 fight per day average. I had killed 2 champions by day 40 and like 6-7 brigand leaders. It took me over 30 days at that insane of a pace to get professional.
Is escorting caravans ever viable? You can reset a location's market, but the time loss in traveling is too great, and the payout from the contract doesn't justify the loss IMO.

Well, dont skip contracts when u take them, dont run away from battles, and do ambitions as fast as u can. And u will be at 1050 at day 20÷25.

That is a lot of useful information especially how the noble contracts work and the agent. Also what is that map seed?

Is it true that the reward for a contract gives a hint on the difficulty of the enemies you will face?
From my experience (more than 400h playtime) I can say: Yes, it does! Way more so, than the number of skulls the contract has.

6:08 Day 20? How the hell did you get that fast? I'm consistently reach proffesional by day 30 and that's if i'm not playing Trading Caravan
If you plan ahead and chain your ambitions, it's doable. Day 30 is already very good timing 😄

i only do short ones early game. late game you do it for the chance to get famed items.
