I would argue Kaenic, Thornmail, Jak'Sho, and Heartsteel are the best Masterwork upgrades (However, Heartsteel may be down a tier because it's bugged 😔)

You just upgrade the stat you need usually. Thornmail gives armor and most games youll need armor and its cheap and does a LOT of damage so its gud
