Great review! It does look best from the Tiny Epic line, I'm really happy they've included dice, that's such a simple and yet effective way to add variety to a small game.
It looks good. Those dice! Happy backer and looking forward to getting this one. I also got the Defenders one, haven't had a chance to try it out yet though, so I don't know if I'll enjoy it or not. This one I'm more sure of, as I did more research into it before backing it.
Wow those are some stellar looking dice! This game looks really neat. I've passed on all of the other Tiny Epic games, but I'm glad I sprung for this one.
Good review. I'm becoming a Scott Almes fan as well, although some seem to hate for whatever reason. While not a lunch hour game, where do find yourself regarding Exodus Proxima Centauri (revised)? Tried to see if you had a rating on it, but it looks like you haven't touched it?
+Aaron Garten Actually played the original (not revised) way back when and it felt a little off. But... I do have the new edition + expansion in the queue to try again. I thought it showed promise and it might have been an awkward play (not enough for me to judge).
+Drive Thru Review I promised myself I wouldn't pull the trigger on the expansion till I saw some reviews on it. I've been on edge with anticipation ever since. I know you have a lot on your plate, but when you find the time a review from you would be awesome! Keep it going, love your channel :D
I’ve not tried any of the Tiny Epic games yet. I want to purchase one, and I think this looks like a good starting point. Would like it for travel, and I’ll be traveling with a group of 5 of us. I think this is the only Tiny Epic game with a 5 player count. Looks fun too!
I think ED (that's an unfortunate yet appropriate abbreviation) suffers from limited replayability. I'm 4-5 games in, and while I like it, I'm already starting to get bored with it. This game seems to have some similar mechanisms that look like it might hold up better after multiple plays.
+smolle I did back this on KS, but this is also a pre-release review copy. I will be getting the blinged out stretch goal version with everyone else :)

Man, I ordered the game after I've watched the new TableTop video and this review makes me really excited, it looks so good!

You ask what will come next? Tiny Epic West(ern) will come next :)
I loved Harbour so much. I am with you Joel. I KS this one and I am eagerly anticipating its arrival.
Great review.

+Aaron Garten Thank you sir.
I am one who does not like what I have played from Scott Almes. I always feel like there was something missing from the game.

Eminent Domain killer?
+TheGreatHamEl No.

+TheGreatHamEl ED? Not sure what that means. I think you mean EmDo :p The expansion is a must for Eminent Domain.
+Drive Thru Review Yeah, you're right. This game might have some surface similarities, but feels / plays nothing like "EmDo". Finally played.
Just to clarify, this game is 1-5 players, not 2-5.
So would this be a micro 4x game?
Loosely.
Is this a good 2 player game? Thank you for this video.
Ya it works great 2 player.
Thx!
I thought this can be played solo? not 2 to 5 players, 1 to 5 players
Could be. I don't recall ever playing it solo (or thinking about it), but it's been so many years now.
Hi Eddy,I was wondering the copy you have is it from the KS or did you just got a copy send to you ?Nice review btw.

+Drive Thru Review Ah oke :D i was wondering since the boat has arrived in detroid or so a few day's ago.
seems like everyone agrees that Tiny Epic Galaxies is the best of the series, the max ive played it with is 4ppl and its a enjoyable game.
