Plane Spotting at its BEST! 30+ Min of Hamilton Action (YHM / CYHM)

Welcome to Hamilton International Airport (YHM / CYHM) in Southern Ontario! Hamilton airport is 30 minutes southwest of Toronto and is used as a secondary airport to Pearson. YHM is also home to Canada's largest cargo airline; Cargojet!
Although they have a fleet of 757-200(PF), 767-200(BDSF) as well as 767-300(BDSF); I surprisingly didnt catch any B752 or B762 in action - oh well!
Hamilton airport is not just a cargo airport; but has a maintenance facility (KF Aerospace), FBO (Jetport) with quite a bit of private jets, passenger traffic (Swoop and WestJet) and a museum (Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum). The CF-18 Demo Jet was also in town for the Buffalo airshow ( • U.S MILITARY ACTION! B... )

Great Video Mark. CYHM has for sure turned into quite the freight airport over the last few years as Cargojet has increased their fleet size. Good to see all the 767-300's given a new life as freighters.

I really believe cyhm has the potential to become a major hub in the cargo market, like east midlands. I think we need some heavies like the 777 and were golden. Great video.

Great video Mark from an airport we don't hear much of. Always loved the Falcon, such a sleek aircraft. Caught one of Cargojet's 757's in Ottawa recently. Too bad the museum wasn't flying anything; they have an amazing collection. T-33 on a stick at the front gates !
