To be fair one Saibaman(grown in Earth's soil which I believe was said to be ideal) is equal to Raditz. Who while weak in terms of Z and beyond, could solo the entirety of OG Dragon Ball, and only lost because of Gohan's ridiculous and weird potential and Goku then sacrificing himself

If you're asking when it was used against Vegeta, it was after he reverted from a Great Ape, when Goku gave it to Krillin, who then threw it, missed, and Gohan bounced it back into Vegeta. Even then, it wasn't enough, so Gohan turned into a Great Ape, had his tail cut by Vegeta, but fell on top of him, crushing him and finally doing him in. Then he called his pod, Krillin went to finish him off, but Goku stopped him.

So I just started playing the update, and I was lucky enough to have a team that fought back and won against great ape since we did a lot of damage to him as Vegeta. That cutscene is so rewarding.
Those matches are the best. It's really unfortunate that most Survivors don't fight back and would rather hide in a corner while crying Vegeta op, even as a Raider I just find these matches to be very unfun.
@@gianturion It's still breakers unfortunately, so in the end there's a lot to factor in. I think the biggest thing is change power. You can be lvl 3 or have no change 5 minutes into the game. Same thing with the keys, you can have all, some, or none at that point. Sometimes it's better to hide and not give the raider change then to fight and die to him.
I'm fine with the RNG, that's what makes matches interesting. You can make a comeback if you had a terrible start as Raider (mostly Buu) and it feels very rewarding because you also improve as a player. What I mean is when Survivors just camp the ETM and don't help out despite being fully capable of helping the team. There's a reason why I usually played with my group before S2, but we also want to play Raider and this update just ruined everything...

I take back what I say, this game might age pretty well, they started the season off with a powerful, but balanced and in depth raider which litteraly has a unique lose animation with a huge map, sick cosmetics, three new survivor skins, new active and passive skills, AND SSJ TRANSPHERES????
I have high hopes for this game, but the current queue system is extreme trash and the devs need to take action immediately because it's genuinely unplayable. Most people can't even get into a match because of it...
@gianturion Yeah, it's nice to have an extra guaranteed raider system, but it does heavily affect the other two match-up options when everyone's just trying to be the raider.

I love the detail and idea in cutting off his tail however I was hoping the cut was instant over having to keep slicing at it. I felt so stupid jumping up trying to cut it and he just ended up taking a little damage. Especially since they advertised it in a way that made it seem like that was all you had to do. It’s already hard enough trying to beat this guy he’s extremely good at the moment. They could have at least let that be a win condition considering how oppressive (rightfully so) Great Ape can be.
Hitting the tail still does a large amount of damage. Why should we get to one-shot the raider? We're meant to survive, not beat them outright. The number of wins by defeating the raider are statistically lower than escaping or activating the Super Time Machine, and that's the point. He's supposed to be way stronger than the survivors, that's the entire point of the game.

I beat Great Ape Vegeta from his max HP as he had gone completely unchallenged by then. He foolishly let me have the dragonballs as he could naturally achieve level 4 on his own at that point. Popped it, and showed why you never underestimate a Piccolo as he chased down the other last survivor, giving us both the W. I don't think I'll ever have a more anime moment.
Level 4 Via 7 Dragon Balls turns you into the character that is in the Dragon Change Lv 3 slot. With Lv 1, 2 & 3 you take the clothes and appearance from other characters while keeping your face and hair, meanwhile if you're Lv 4 (Or use one of the Super Transpheres that appear when Broly is the selected raider) You straight up turn into the character that's in the Lv 3 Slot (But the Super Transpheres give you one of 7 (?) random characters)
The only thing I don’t like how how it’s vegeta and not nappa to destroy the area for saibamen even though spopovich has a kill I do like the great ape kill though

No offense to the devs, but some of these seem a bit rushed. Reused voice lines “hmhm” And reused voice lines from XV2 for Vegeta. Not to mention the cutscenes seem really stiff. I imagine they just had deadline issues.

If Saibaman is defeated through HP then Nappa appears and the match proceeds as normal. STM is impossible because Saibaman has a timer: if he takes too long then Vegeta will get mad and destroy him, Nappa will take his place and the match proceeds as normal.
saibaman defead makes you go to nappa , animation plays of vegeta blowing them up and you losse him as assist , plus it adds more time to the greatape cooldown when you get to vegeta , same if nappa dies , basicly you have 3raider life bars but they are easy to beat up even on 1 v 1
@@vcgamer6538 Great Ape CD increases *only* if you lose Nappa (from 540s to 700s), Saibaman doesn't really matter but Nappa won't be able to use him as a minion. Saibaman is the easiest to beat, Nappa is also pretty easy to beat while Vegeta is the real Raider. His HP isn't the highest to make it fair for the Survivors.

So if you play on the flex/raider setting, how much priority till you become the raider? I'm at priority 10 and still haven't been the raider. I have it set so I will be the raider whenever that is. I saw a Vegeta raider that was level 39 already. How??!!
No clue, some people only got Raider after priority 20+. I got lucky because I played just as the update came out so I managed to get 2 matches with Vegeta, now I'll have to either play customs or suffer through the queue...

Because it would be stupid after all the effort the Raider goes through to get Great Ape. Vegeta has the lowest HP among the Raiders, it's easy enough to just kill him before he reaches his Lvl. 4.
Vegeta gets nothing from executing Survivors & Civilians and he's vulnerable against a team attack, his Super Attacks are purely based around duels and he doesn't have any AoE (only Nappa, implying he's still alive). His Ki Blasts are fast but imprecise, the best course of action is to immediately rush him and get into melee range so he can't use them.
I can't with the look of this game, it just kinda looks like a slightly better XenoVerse. After games like kakarot and fighterz I expect better. Even older titles like raging blast look better
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an asymmetrical game where 7 Survivors need to work together to place the Power Keys and set up the Super Time Machine against 1 Raider. Current Raiders are Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu and Vegeta (newest addition).

So if you play on the flex/raider setting, how much priority till you become the raider? I'm at priority 10 and still haven't been the raider. I have it set so I will be the raider whenever that is. I saw a Vegeta raider that was level 39 already. How??!!
No clue, some people only got Raider after priority 20+.
I got lucky because I played just as the update came out so I managed to get 2 matches with Vegeta, now I'll have to either play customs or suffer through the queue...

Yajirobe's Sword deals more damage to Vegeta's tail, but it's not necessary to defeat him and the ending remains the same.

Because it would be stupid after all the effort the Raider goes through to get Great Ape. Vegeta has the lowest HP among the Raiders, it's easy enough to just kill him before he reaches his Lvl. 4.

Vegeta gets nothing from executing Survivors & Civilians and he's vulnerable against a team attack, his Super Attacks are purely based around duels and he doesn't have any AoE (only Nappa, implying he's still alive).
His Ki Blasts are fast but imprecise, the best course of action is to immediately rush him and get into melee range so he can't use them.
it's because if you cut off his tail he doesn't go back to level 3 - he just straight up loses right there

I can't with the look of this game, it just kinda looks like a slightly better XenoVerse. After games like kakarot and fighterz I expect better. Even older titles like raging blast look better
