    i believe the "Did you see me somewhere?" line refers to the ghosts we saw when roaming the maps

      @@krakenassassin7805 after one of the events called "visions of the kyoshin", large four-armed ghost demon things (layman's terms, im pretty sure they're also just called "kyoshin") would run around the maps and scare the crap out of players and do their little ghost dances which mirror one of kyoshin's emotes - pretty cool stuff

    “Don’t be hasty” is such a cold line considering what will happen if you just attack him without thinking it through

    suddenly anime taking forever to say the name of a single attack makes sense when you hear how fast it is in Japanese

    Good job! I recommend that you warn users that they have to press the subtitle button or they won't see the translations. You could write it in the description below the video so.Others people might not press the button and watch the video without the translation you entered.

    TYSM! I arrived around the time this event released and this hits in the feels for me. I am very grateful that you have shown me what this character says.

    Are you sure he isn’t saying ない (nai) instead of なり (nari)? I think it would make more sense and it really sounds like he’s saying ない imo. I’m talking about the one at 1:57, the first one sounds right. Honestly not sure about it so I may just be silly

    • @Kyo-ph9yb
      @Kyo-ph9yb  3 роки тому +2

      He says「恐れるものは”なし”(Osoreru mono wa “nashi”)」
      なし【無し】(nashi)is a old Japanese.
      But meaning is the same as modern Japanese.
      This is a adjective. - ク活用
      な -{(く)から/く・かり/し/き・かる/けれ/かれ}

      @@Kyo-ph9yb I was talking about the next one, 諸行無常なり、it sounds like he’s saying 無常ない。I don’t really see なり too often, and now that I’ve looked into it more なり seems to make more sense than ない. I just really don’t hear なり when he says that line but that’s probably just me.

    • @Kyo-ph9yb

      He says「諸行無常“なり”(Shogyou mujou “nari”)」
      ない(Nai)is a wrong.
      なり(Nari) is an auxiliary verb that describes a state or nature.
      This is an old Japanese too.
      This meaning is the 〜で、ある。written in modern Japanese.
      なり(nari)- Auxiliary verb that indicates the [ state / nature ] that follows a noun

    • @Kyo-ph9yb
      @Kyo-ph9yb  3 роки тому +2

      If you write 【諸行無常なり】 in modern Japanese , it becomes【(世の中は)諸行無常である。】.
      諸行無常である
       =(世の中のものは)全て絶えず変化している(Everything is constantly changing)
       = 永遠は存在しない(Eternity does not exist)

      But I know your opinion.
      The reason is probably that there are a certain number of Japanese people who cannot say the pronunciation of "ラ行【ら(ra), り(ri), る(ru), れ(re), ろ(ro)】" clearly.
      The pronunciation of "ラ行" in such people often sounds like "ア行【あ(a), い(i), う(u), え(e), お(o)】".
      By the way, I'm also not good at pronouncing "ラ行".
