How dry does the final mould have to be before pouring metal? Does the charcoal from the sugar when it heats up not ruin the surface of the castings from the bubbles? Is the ratio 10:1.5 if so by weight or volume? What sand type is used fine river sand? what else is in the sand mixture other than molasses and sand is there anything else?
