And guess what ? They refunded me.
And surprisingly I got the product just a week after getting refunded.
I bought more than 30 products from AliExpress. And till now, I am happy with AliExpress.

I ordered two items from AliExpress on the same day from different seller.
One of them was delivered to my Address , from second seller I got an email saying Item has been delivered but it never showed.
Went to track it found out it has been delivered to another state PO (3000 miles away).
Contacted Seller to tell me exactly what happened - He never responded (My guess is he doesn't speak English)
Opened dispute - proposed : Either tell me where the item is , in which post office and a phone number (so that I can contact them) or give me full refund since seller is at fault for not delivering item at right location.
Seller rejected my proposal and offered his proposal ( Item is Delivered refund (0.00$)
It went on for around 10 days - I edit the proposal -seller copy+paste the same line.
AliExpress stepped in when purchase protection ran out.
I contacted the customer care , now thats the funny story, I don't think those people speak English either .
They copy paste the same line ' your order money is safe with us', 'We understand your concern and support you' , 'we know what you are going through (-do you??) ' ,' we will surly help you ' .
This went on for 20days.
And suddenly I get an email from them - your dispute has been closed , money has been released to seller .
Reason being - Your item cleared the custom and will deliver eventually.
**Are you serious , do you know ow what eventually means ?? , I can be 75 by then and it can still be ' eventually' **
Anyway it's been 4months since dispute was closed by 'Ali - almighty- I don't give a rats a** about my customers argument and worries -.
I lost my hair and got some wrinkles under my eyes with this whole ordeal.
I lost my money, my time and found my solace in giving poor rating to seller and leaving and ugly feedback to seller hoping someone would change their mind before they decide to order something from AliExpress again.

Aliexpress Shopping Rules-
1) Search for the product.
2) Check the number of orders.
3) Check reviews.
4) Check bad reviews.
5) If everything looks okay place the order.

I've lots of orders from AliExpress. Some arrive n some r refunded. Advice: 1. check the sellers rating n feedback. 2. Check the type of shipper the seller use. 3.check the products u ordered is eligible for import to India . 4. Don't wait more than 2 months, open dispute..
I have ordered so many items. Usually it takes 25 to 30 days on average. Once i got a defected product and i have open a dispute with photos and i got the full amount back to my account and the dispute was cancelled saying aliexpress team that there is no need to return the item.. whenever you choose item do pay attention to reviews.

Better to not buy rather taking tensions
I have shopped in AliExpress many times. Maximum value item I ordered was around 3600. Usually don't have to pay customs for items in this price range. The trick also is to inform the seller to mark it as lower value item on the package like under $10
But very cheap items like below 500 and if you choose free shipping, chances are that they don't get delivered and you have to wait 2 months to raise dispute and get refund.

If u buy, u can't get warranty because u have to return to seller that cost u have to pay and that is cost more than product selling price. If seller did not shipped , that time u will get refund but 50% because currency conversion and their transaction charges included. Many time u have to pay custom duty.

Ali expressed suspended my account even though I had legitimate reason to open dispute. I received more bad products after open dispute and Ali express would not be nothing in the Representative told me Ali express was not going to do nothing. So I lost money so Buyers Beware. New update guys. Seems like AliExpress and other similar sites will be banned or will be made limited in India because so many people ordering high value items by asking seller to mark it as gift. By doing this, the customs be either less or zero sometimes. I saw news today
