If your still trying to figure out the key problem. I highly recommend picking up a couple P-7 keychain suspension clips. I keep my vehicle keys completely independent. That way you can grab the bike key or the car key and have on you just what you need. Then my primary set has the apartment key and any other essentials. The P-7 suspension clip allows them to hang in my front right pocket without interfering with other pocket contents. Pocket danglers are definitely the way to go IMO.

Totally agree with you about keys, especially the jingling! I’d recommend either a Bellroy key cover or an OrbitKey key organiser. Both work great for a small number of keys and make jingling a thing of the past. Couldn’t go back.

I work from home full time now, so I’ve gone from an overstuffed backpack to virtually nothing. Most days I leave on,he to walk the dog so: sunglasses, leash, dog, poop bag, phone, headphones. But if I do need to ... you know ... buy a grocery, it’s: keys, compact wallet, phone. In my fanny pack (which is just a small zippy pouch): migraine meds, Advil, a ponytail holder, a tiny measuring tape and lip balm.
