I am very impressed with the Tombow pencils. Although, I simply adore all drawing/sketching pencils regardless of branding.

I'm really confused to choose Mitsubishi or Tombow or Derwent or Staedtler. Which one best in shade of darkness, easy to blend and not to easy break?
My favorite are the Mitsubishi ua-cam.com/video/0Ivw3BUoKZk/v-deo.html, next these ua-cam.com/video/Re028qdYQQM/v-deo.html, then I guess I haven't reviewed the Derwent, but they are ok and least favorite ua-cam.com/video/3gVdo3RMegc/v-deo.html because they aren't pure graphite. I also like the Faber Castell 9000 but they run hard, so they aren't as black ua-cam.com/video/z1OkJ8O23Wo/v-deo.html Hope this helps you out!

have u tried the Staedtler mars lumograph ?
which pencils do u recommend for beginners
I have! They are a good pencil, however, I don't recommend them for one reason: they are darker/blacker looking than any other graphite pencil I've used, so they don't blend well with different brands. If you're using a 4B Mars Lumograph, it won't match a 4B Faber-Castell or Raffine at all. The tone of the black is less like graphite and more like charcoal and really looks different. The texture is different too, and they don't get that glossy sheen on the layered looks. So they are a great pencil, but you can really only use them together. For beginners, the cheapest ones are the Raffine pencils. They break a bit more easily when sharpening. I've been using the Tombo Mono and the Mitsubishi Hi-Uni for the past 9 months and am loving them. Totally worth the slightly higher cost than the Raffine and a great pencil for beginners!
