That guy has one of the strongest growls I’ve ever heard in metal. And he can reach such utterly low frequencies with his harsh vocals. Their drummer is like some kind of inhuman machine. These newer extreme metal bands are definitely taking things up a notch. Though of course musical genres and styles should be ever evolving and ascending. And that’s a great point regarding your ability to discern details- a classical background means catching facets of vocal work that untrained listeners can miss.
Thank you so much for sharing Mr. Matthew🌺
Alex is very good at projection of his voice. The demolisher part at the end he does with no mic and in most settings you can still hear him through out the whole area
Thanks for sharing
Next STP -Viking....
Yes - Да да да
Nah, Immortal Disfigurement: KING
@@jesselewis5699 No offense, but their video is very boring - while "Viking" is a little more emotional and driving.
Thanks for the recommendations
Live one take version.
Alex claims to be an awful "clean" singer, but says he's learning. He uploaded a couple videos recently of him actually singing (an old Russian war ballad, and Pantera's "Cemetery Gates") and I'll be damned if he isn't pretty good. Where this is more controlled guttural chaos (which I love), he's developing a great singing voice on top of it. You should definitely check it out, whether or not you decide to react to it. Really interesting stuff. Also, adding that in very opera-esque fashion, the part where he shouts "demolisher," he legitimately does that without a microphone everytime they perform this song, and you can hear him clearly across an auditorium. He has an incredibly powerful voice.
Many thanks for sharing🌺
I was waiting for you to do this song!!!🤣🤣
Oh thanks so much, sorry for the long wait🌺
This is even more nuts live! So glad I got to see him as my first show, although STP have set a really high bar
I literally just subbed for the metal vocal reactions even tho Ik that not what your channel is about lol. But it’s cool it’s like a nice lil treat you get once in awhile.
Thanks so much for the sub, much appreciated🌺
Great observation and reaction Aaliyah! Happy Easter weekend by the way!
Thank you! You too!🌺
Everyone loves a good breakdown. She's a metal head now ❤
Oh thanks so much🥰
Not sure why this is recommended as a first for reacting to this band with a reactor that is not primarily a metalhead. Bonebreaker live in Moscow is a good one to ease them into STP
Many thanks for taking the time to watch🌺
The first songs i heard was Bratva and Agony which got me into STP. Would suggest 1984, Viking or the other 2 i mentioned
Many thanks for sharing
Amo guardare i tuoi video!❤️ Cara Aaliyah, sei meravigliosa!🫶😍
Oh thank you very much Mr. stefano💕
He is an interesting figure .Im not into growling and screaming but I like this band .He’s the nicest bear in the woods.
Thanks for sharing🌺
No effects are added to his vocals.. that’s all him
🥰
I mean there's a couple layered sections in this song, but generally there isn't any heavy doctoring of those layered vocals.
@@TylertheFancyI feel alot of good singers vocals are over produced sadly.
She is talking of physical effects, she knows its all him.
Pretty good reaction! 😅 No seriously you didn't even ask if he was possessed. Fun fact, Alex does a bit in concert where he gets the crowd to quiet down and he does that without a mic, and everyone can hear him just fine, like in opera. Also oddly, harsh vocals tend to be on the quiet side. Has something to do with breath control and not damaging yourself, and the false cords. But not Alex, lol. Great reaction!
Thanks so much for sharing🌺
That drum pattern you are talking about in that kind of music. It's called a breakdown.
Thanks for sharing
Blood Red Skies by Judas Priest - you will love it!

@@AaliyahCapili I really do You Look Really Beautiful

🤗🤗🤗
Круто!
🥰🥰🥰
Cant go wrong with Russian heavy stuff and Adidas sweatpants
😊😊😊
🤣🤣 love this
😊
It's not fry. The harsh sounds do not use the vocal cords at all. He does sometimes mix pitched sounds with the harsh sounds.
Many thanks for sharing
I have 2 suggestions: Dead Can Dance and Sigur Ros. DCD is right up your operatic alley (not a metal band at all) !
Thanks for the recommendations
you are welcome - it is a pleasure watching your reactions. Sigur Ros, I highly recommend this live video: ua-cam.com/video/rAVWUQA_C4Y/v-deo.html@@AaliyahCapili
My favorite band of late check out the song Viking
Thanks for the recommendation
Alex Terrible is great, especially his lows, but you haven't heard nothin till you've heard Dickie Allen from Infant Annihilator, he has an extremely unique nastiness to his voice that nobody else can quite match. Will Ramos from Lorna Shore cites him as his biggest influence. The Infant Annihilator song "Blasphemian" shows off his range and talent quite well, and the video for it is...interesting, to say the least.
Thanks so much for sharing🌺
Plus, best drummer in the world.
Sorry but this place is occupied by Dave Lombardo. :)
Danny Carey would like to have a word.
🥰
Hey you absolutely must check out “Pleiades Map”, the new single by the band called Saphath:) that’s one of the “you cannot miss” things
Thanks for the recommendation
@@AaliyahCapili not at all, you’ll be surprised:) from the point of academic vocals, too
You should do a reaction to A-Ha's song, Take On Me. Very popular song here in the Philippines (amongst others) back in the 80s. Great video they have as well...
Thanks for the recommendation🥰
Next avenged sevenfold live LBC.

Slayer is about the limit for logical and ability to play it perfect live metal.
