Man! I live the score for Tinker Taylor... The harmonies and sound are just so haunting and fitting for this movie. Now I need to watch it again! Dude, I am thinking about Retropalooza. It's pretty soon but maybe I'll come over.
Yeah, that movie is really good. So glad I own it now! Man, you’re gonna have to move fast if you do! And with it being in downtown Fort Worth instead of Arlington, I don’t have any idea what that does for the hotel prices and whatnot…!
I've been watching: 1. BOTH Ollie Stone/Mike Douglas Wall Street movies for the first time. Somehow missed the OG one back in the days but caught it last week. Fun enough as a relic of the 80s, but also just as shallow as the stereotypical Wall Street guy and the story doesn't really come together for me. Worth watching for Douglas of course, and also for the always awesome Sheen Senior as the pretend dad of the pretend character being played by Sheen Junior. As far as I can tell from a brief scan online, the sequel seems to be considered a weaker effort but I actually dug it more, partially because the story holds together better but mostly because, at least in terms of talent, Shia & Carey >>>>>>>> Charlie & Daryl. 2. The Karl Urban/Olivia Thirlby/Lena Heady Dredd. At first I felt like Urban's voice wasn't quite cutting my idea of Dredd's voice, but that feeling faded pretty quick and overall it's a nice tight story and a ton of ludicrously violent fun.
I did not see the 2nd Wall Street, just because I wasn’t a huge fan of the first. Interesting. Dredd, now…THAT’s a great one! I also heard that if you have/had a 3D TV, that was one of the best discs you could get. Unfortunately, I never got one. Really enjoyed Karl Urban in that role!
Yeah, I’ve seen that one almost as many times! I think I actually like that one a bit better, but still kinda cheesy. But…Christian Slater definitely helps!

Would you rather be a tinker, a tailor a soldier or a ghostbuster?
I think I'd rather be Lou Ferrigno. 😆
@@order42show He was my favourite Spiderman too
I’d shake my head…but it’s not needed. 😂

Checkout Broken Arrow if you haven't seen it. It's not as ridiculous as Face Off but another John Travolta, John Woo vehicle
