    We love ours. Your points are valid. Maybe they could sew some sleeves in the door so a tent like pole could slide through and make it more rigid like a solid door. I agree with the table too. Considering we never use the second panel, I was considering trying to cut it smaller by a foot or so and allow more "standing" room. They are a great company to deal with. We have had problems with the star gazing windows dry rotting and cracking. They warrantied the tent and sent a new one, unfortunately, those window cracks too. They sent another tent which now no longer has the star gazing windows which is fine with us. It was apparently a product wide problem with those windows. We have quite a few of their options and accessories. The cloud mattresses are worth the investment. We have a 2019 unit, the new ones have gotten VERY expensive. The engineering of this "trailer" is amazing. Worth the price when we bought ours, I'm not too sure about their current pricing though.

    I think it would have been wise to level your trailer and engage the stabilizer jacks before you set the bed platforms up and started to open up the tent pod. Also as mentioned earlier in a comment, you should lower the pod once you lower it and have it stop on the back wall. This will prevent the tent from major movement as it will be friction fit to the floor of the trailer.

    Magnet zipper like they use on
    B class rv’s doors, for easy access.

    Did you notice because of the mesh on the ceiling you don’t get moisture inside? We travel to Florida each winter and live it for a month then go to provincial parks all summer a week at a time for a total of 5 weeks. It’s the best investment for fun and utility.

    After lowering the panel you are supposed to crank down the roof in order to "wedge" the panel to the floor. Also I think the bed supports have to be turned a 1/4 on both ends. Here's a video on how to do it properly: ua-cam.com/video/fgZt3x2IOPU/v-deo.html

    I love this little trailer setup and the variety of uses it can be used for. I haven't seen anything like that here in Australia 🦘. I will have to check it out.

    I did pull my GO with my Smart car! I pulled it from Valey Forge, PA to Colorado Springs, CO in mid-July, 2022. It pulled trailer just fine (with maybe 200 lbs. on the trailer). However, I would highly recommend an after-factory suspension upgrade if you intend to do this regularly. I now own a 4Runner (still have my Smart) and do not intend to use the Smart to pull the Sylvansport GO in the future.

      Very brave. I have pulled a light load of scrap metal with my Smart. Not bad. I also do a lot of off roading with it.

    Maybe they could swap the drop-down panel to the back and put a hard door in.

      Probably not. It's 7ft long. Hauls 800 lbs

    • @DarkForceEight
      @DarkForceEight 24 дні тому

      It should. Biggest limitation is the 48" ceiling height in cargo mode. Any windscreen usually makes a bike too tall. As long as the bike is under 800lbs, the trailer should be fine for larger bikes.

      I don’t know why this is worth 10 K. It appears to me that it’s practically a tent.i See if the company had an item that had plastic sturdier panels where you can just align the panel walls and when you’re ready to go, just stack the panels unstructured the panel housing.

      Bought ours used for $7500 a year ago. These things have been made the same way since 2004 and can be had for less if you're patient. New pricing is over $15k & they just introduced an off road model that has bigger tires & set up for more ground clearance in 2024.

      They are very expensive, but if it clicks all of your boxes and needs, then it could be worth it. At least for the money they charge, it's a high-quality product, not a piece of eye candy junk. We bought a demo unit so it worked out. If you search hard enough, you can find a deal. Valid point though.

      The used market is solid for these trailers. They can be had for much less if you're willing to drive a couple states to pick it up.

    OK so without sounding too negative I wanted to say that the title is two year review. Well all you really did was show us how it setup and tore down and that, sorry, was not very good as you made a lot of mistakes. It looked like you were doing it for the first time, not like you have been doing it for the last two years. You did not setup the real fiberglass wall correctly, did not do a 1/4 turn on the bed supports in order to lock them in place. Did not setup your stabilizers, did not bother to level the trailer.... I was hoping for a two year review, what you use it for, where you go, how comfortable is it, any leaking issues etc... I got nothing of that.

    • @kaleidoscopeKW
      @kaleidoscopeKW  4 місяці тому +1

      Ok. We use it but not a lot. We do tent camping, we own a Go camper and we have a Class C motorhome. We forgot a few things and the level doesn't work. We really like the trailer and look forward to another camp location in summer.
