It's just like any relationship. The more I love a person or a thing the less I want to violate that relationship. Kobe Bryant and basketball. A good father and his children. The Kardashians and fame. A lot of us and Money. We will make endless sacrifices for the things we love and value most. If we truly love God the tought of hurting him would make us sick. But we are imperfect and flawed people so thank God for his grace. Because as Roman's 7 and just life in general tells us, even if we want to do the right thing we will find ourselves struggling and jeopardizing the thing we truly want.
One thing I’ve also noticed is when pastors or leaders try to be relatable to lay people, they may take them to dinner at a bar or they play secular music in the church, etc. I think this also turns people off because they are looking for a place that’s different than the world, they are looking for something the world can’t offer, but when we look just like the world, it’s a disappointment for them. People will respect our faith and church when we start also respecting and reverencing the Spirit of God. People will have so much more respect for us when we actually are honest and remain firm in our devotion.
The problem isn't that you're eating at a restaurant or listening to secular music. The problem isn't that you're in the world, or that you even appear worldly. The problem is that you all love as the world loves, that is, with conditions.

Like I mentioned before I appreciate what she is doing because some aren't brave enough to do what she is doing especially being new to the faith. I also know the importance of having someone who's mature in the faith who will help her. That was what I was wondering.
I was glad when the conversation went left and the focus became more on condemning Joel Olsteen, that my man with the red hat go everyone back focus. I’ve never personally listened to a single Joel sermon but as believers a lot of times we get caught up in playing the blame game and saying who is wrong. Instead our focus should be on what is right. We don’t need more people telling us what the wrong thing is but non-believers need to know that Jesus is the only way and that whatever He said is the right way to live.
I listened to Joel Osteen years ago and still pursued a godly life. I can't say his teaching told me it was OK to sin. People pull from teachings what their heart is open to and leave the rest. All the conversations on this topic make me think of the parable of the sower. The word is constantly under attack/competition not to grow roots in the heart.
Matthew 23:13 “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”

I appreciate the comment of those who don't choose to be a legit Christian in spite of those who aren't. Most people are average and will follow the ways of mediocrity. "The road is narrow..." If you believe in something enough, you stand on that no matter what anyone else does.
I’ve said this thousands of times after growing up in church. Now understanding scripture for myself is that, people should not be getting saved at church. It’s the gathering place for already believers to be discipled and the place of refuge to fellowship. Prayer strength and encouragement all of that good stuff. Why? So that they can be productive disciples in the streets to win souls outside of the 4 walls. The great commission is to go OUT into all the world and preach the gospel not bring all in. Jesus (word) will do that. The church has become something else and not what Christ intended- everything Paul said concerning the different churches are what we are to do (minus the cultural commands). The World is always going to have something to say but some make valid points that needs to be considered without compromise.
When the brother joined his church, he didn't just go to the classes, he CHOSE to go to the classes being offered. In probably the majority of churches, Bible Study Night looks a lot less populated than Sunday Morning. The majority doesn't choose to go deeper.
When I got saved. I went to a praying church. I just did what the Pastor told me to do. I was confused, scared and everything. God had a purpose for my life. The devil don’t want anybody to be saved the church is a safe haven. The Holy Ghost will guide you if you let him. After I got strong in the Lord he lead Me to a better church. We can’t lean to our own understanding we have to do trust God that he will never leave us or forsake us.
The practice of going through the motions and preachers preaching and not teaching. Hearers and not doers. Lack of training up and true studying going on.
At the end of the day, we have to give an account. What this one did and what that one did is not an excuse to not seek the Lord for yourself. Wake up and run to Christ and stay there while there is time.
Shalom men of God and many blessings to you and to your beautiful wives and families (personal/ministries). I do not disregard this young man of valour's decision in leaving the religious practice he was under. But this is the thing. If The Most High GOD allows certain people to be exposed to those kind of experiences, it is not so they can embrace a distorted view about Him and the life He identifies with. The Most High will expose certain people to those kind of experiences to show them what His image and life is not. And He is also using those kind of experiences to teach them what not to do when being engaged in this walk with Him. Those experiences are not there and present in our personal space so we can make excuses on why we should leave The Most High God. We are still accountable for finding out the truth for ourselves when it comes to this walk in Christ. The Most High GOD will allow us to see bad and corrupt examples in religious practices so He can teach us and show us how to be pure expressions of this walk. Those toxic experiences and bad examples of His image and life are teaching instruments that place a demand on our value to live above the false and hypocritical representations. We are entrusted with the responsibility to learn the truth about The Messiah Jesus Christ/Yehushua Hamashiach and how He expresses the exemplar model of His Father's image in both the earth realm and spirit realm. It is not wise for any human soul to allow the imperfections of human nature to keep them from understanding the truth about the perfection and holiness of The Messiah and The Father. We are without excuse. We are accountable for knowing the truth for ourselves. When we allow the bad examples of other people to dictate how we see the walk of The Most High, we are exposing where we are in our heart conditions. It exposes a presence of immaturity and underdevelopment in that area. I am not saying that in an insulting way. I am saying that to show the truth about a person's need of discipleship in that area. Discipleship helps us to eliminate bad decisions making when it comes to this walk, especially when we see ungodly expressions of this walk. GOD Bless you all and thank you for allowing me to share this. Shalom unto you and to your beautiful wives and families.
Not only that the scripture says come out from among them and be separate the same the Most High. ... I heard one pass to say, Jesus party with the sinners?... I thought to myself or maybe he did but the Messiah I read about didn't party with sinners. He was casting out demons healing The sick the blind saw the lane walk the deaf heard and the poor received the good news
I would love to know who are your pastors or who do you look up to when it's time to believe in what the scripture is saying. It's not your words that you used to convince someone who has lost their faith it's the word of God if you lead with the word of God then all they know is the word that will strengthen their faith
Just FYI, being a Catholic is NOT the same as being a Christian (even though there are professing Christians everywhere). Not sure what her goal was in interviewing him. She is confused, we should pray for her.
Remember the Catholic Church teach penance not repentance. If you watch for example: the old hangstar films, they were Catholic did what they did and went to confession and did their penance and continued doing their business. With this man it looks like he expecting holiness from men instead of seeking holiness from God. All have sinned and fallen short, only Jesus said follow me, which is why we continuously seek God. If we look to men, that's a problem. Because he sounds like he judged God based on the people. We also have to be seeking the Lord in where to worship. We should be led. Sometimes we get in situations we are not supposed to because we did what we wanted to do instead of seeking God.
When did she become an expert? She should not be speaking and should be seeking God. If she KNEW scripture she would know the bible she would understand the fear of the Lord. She would also know the bible talks about hell more than heaven.
Understand how is it possible, folks still sitting up in church 1020 30 years and still living like babes in the Messiah?. Don't know the word can't teach about the word and nothing like that I don't I don't understand that I can't sit up and nobody's assembly and stay stuck on stupid.
Hell is real so we not supposed to mention hell over other people’s feelings ??? 😂😂😂 yea ok I won’t compromise…. And Real believers would never “act” behind closed doors ..Russ needs to understand not all believers are evil or fake ..
So if I tell you that if you keep living a life of sin that you're going to hell, and that's me scaring you to believe in God. So why would you want my God, because if you don't believe in him you'll go to hell. So what would she want me tell her if she was addicted to drugs or if she was in a gang, if you don't stop using drugs you're going to die, and if you don't get out of the gang you're gonna end up dead or locked up in jail or prison. You're basically telling them the same thing the only difference is that we're talking about living a life of sin can cause to end up in hell by the judgment of God if you don't repent
This is sad the beginning of wisdom is fearing the lord he created all things . Whe does not answer to us we answer to him . And catholic is not the lords it’s a pagan church the harlet
You can get to the "God" without the church....without religion. Y'all killing me with this. The ultimate creator does exist but not in the way y'all portray it. Stop with this b.s. "God" is within every individual due to each and every individual made in "God's image," the ultimate creator via the your mother and father.

No, it’s not because we are The Image of God that He does dwells in everybody, but ofc from someone who based their statement about how they feeling or how by human understanding can see things,no surprise
The Bible is also taught incorrectly. You must study it...do research on it. Not read it literally. The bible is an allegorical parable...it's codified. Holy (Greek)= Helio ==> Sun; Bible (Greek)= Biblio ==> Book...Sun Book.

@@heavenonearth468 oh! I keep hearing about his church. A friend of mine just started going there and I know she was living a lukewarm life for a while.
The real problem is nobody is discipling. It's either all about Sunday or all anout outreach to bring more souls.
Speak the truth in love. That's the approach. And love is not one-dimensional. It involves mercy and grace, but also chastisement and correction.
A practice that people need to implement is to judge GOD'S Word according to what it says instead of by the followers...
Sin separates us from God ‼️
Matthew 23:13 “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”
Beware of false prophets
As annoyed with b as i am i have to remind myself im no better than her in my spiritual walk with Christ. Listening to the first few seconds of this immediately reminded me that pride is a demon that i give in to and tussle with ALOT. Prayer works and im gonna pray for all of us to open our minds and surrender our thoughts and opinions to God thru Jesus Christ!
I appreciate the comment of those who don't choose to be a legit Christian in spite of those who aren't. Most people are average and will follow the ways of mediocrity. "The road is narrow..." If you believe in something enough, you stand on that no matter what anyone else does.
I was seeing the same shit Russ when I grew up in a Christian household.
FYI-John Osteen Pastor Joel's dad did not teach him this way. Papa Osteen was a tongue talking preacher who did not play.
Look him up.
And it still costs.
I think she is saying you can't scare someone into heaven, you should Love them to Heaven.
I get it but the problem is ppl don’t understand that God does has a wrath. He is very merciful but he still has a wrath.
Jeremiah 35:14 To have this great Word of God given and don't listen and obey has consequences
But THE FEAR OF THE LORD is the beginning of wisdom! But she wouldnt know that because she doesnt read her bible.
Yup!Ppl don’t read.God does have a wrath and some ppl don’t take Him seriously. People were still denying him in Revelation smh.
@@vee22354 should be The respect or reverence of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. The word fear gets misrepresented in this verse.
Can you name me one time while listening to Joel Osteen that he opened up the Bible and told you to go to a chapter or a verse
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You might have to be that one if no one is.
3:35 that on the person if they want to grow in the LORD ! You can have good Pastors but people don’t want Christ then !
Jude 1:23 - And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
I thought Catholic is just another denomination of Christianity. They believe Jesus was the son of man and salvation is only through faith in Jesus.
Deny thy self... Hmmm
We follow Jesus not people. People get into trouble because they dont try to find God for themselves
You're supposed to fear God ‼️🥴
That man was talking about an experience he had at age 12. What are y’all talking about? lol
Hell is real so we not supposed to mention hell over other people’s feelings ??? 😂😂😂 yea ok I won’t compromise…. And Real believers would never “act” behind closed doors ..Russ needs to understand not all believers are evil or fake ..
who is Russ?
A rapper and a producer
Jude 1:24
@@j-us-t_be-in-g 🤣🤣🤣🤣. That foolish statement made me laugh. First of all, do you what true religion is? No of course you wouldn’t say that. Secondly you genuinely showing ur comprehension of being The Image of God stupidly incorrect by ur analogy. Does ur mom lives in u? Or ur dad ? No, it’s not because we are The Image of God that He does dwells in everybody, but ofc from someone who based their statement about how they feeling or how by human understanding can see things,no surprise
So true. A lot of ppl are Churchanity folks anyway.
The Bible is also taught incorrectly. You must study it...do research on it. Not read it literally. The bible is an allegorical parable...it's codified. Holy (Greek)= Helio ==> Sun; Bible (Greek)= Biblio ==> Book...Sun Book.
Where did you find that translation?
The Greek meaning of Holy is 'Hagios' which is translated to be "pure, sacred, and worthy."
