- This was the video feed that the Grateful Dead provided to the local Pittsburgh media. They only allowed the first 3 songs to be recorded. This is the footage that was showed on the big screens during the show. It was recorded on beta 1/4 inch tape then transferred to DVC Pro tape. Then put into Final Cut Pro and color corrected. The engineers randomly put up color bars but this is all of the video archived. No $ will be made from these video and please don't ask for copies.
I will always be grateful.

Jerry Stiller in King of Queens:
We're in Pittsburgh? I've never been to Pittsburgh. Let's tour the Steel mills. Let's drink from the Monagahelia!
I'll take things a Deadhead might say for 600 Alex.
Did he really say that?
@@ReedRosson1987 all but the last line🤣

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEENIE HODGES!
Omg! just saw myself in the last couple seconds before it cut out. Too bad it is blurry with that trippy filter. Any way to get the original without the filter?
That’s the feed directly from the board by the Grateful Dead. They only let us have the first 3 songs and randomly threw up color bars so we didn’t get a complete song. Weird but that’s how they did it back then. Thanks for watching! I’m glad you were able to find yourself!
My last Dead show.
Unfortunately it was for a lot of people. Thanks for watching! There is a bunch of other music on my page you might like!
Wow 😲
I was there --------------- I think.
you were dancing like crazy that night! I just know it! Thanks for checking out the video! Hit subscribe if you want to see more!
Jerry :(
god damn it's hard to watch. Great tune though.
Where’s the rest of your he video from this night I’ve always wondered
Now I see they only allowed so much, damn, second set was ridiculous
Yo lemme score a copy so's I can make a couple quick bucks?😂
Poor Jerry...looks like hell...and like he's just barely holding on.
Indeed. I walked out knowing i was done. It had all gone to crap. The lots were dark & mean, scammers, the band was a shell of the forner self. Sadly something had to give, and that ended up being Jer. The good times though, there were days and there were days
He sure as hell didn’t sound like he was just barely hanging on. Haha. Blew my mind that night. I was there. Haha.
You got the words wrong again Bobby. “I haven’t seen the worst of it yet”
Hard to watch Jerry in this condition, needs to go to an emergency room ASAP.
Too late, that was close tho bro, you did everything you could
Guitar sounds great. He died in his sleep. Deal with it.
@pm5906 is that what they tell the daycare lot kids in 2024? Jerry died pushing too hard on the toilet bc of the speedball and PB sandwiches, like the King. Deal with it.
Glad I wasn't there.
Thanks for watching anyway!
@@Grystarvids Fortunately they didn't show much of Jerry - heartbreaking.
Poor Jerry - He looks like he's at least 70 years old and he was what, 51 at the time?
sad!
he was 53 so he looks 72
he was 52. 53 on August 1 of that year.
Thanks for watching! What a great night in the rain! There is a lot of other music on my page that you might like.
Dead at there best
What a great night in the rain! At least we still have the music! There's a bunch of music on my page you might like. Thanks for watching!
Why didn't you give Jerry a break😊 and he would still be here you're very greedy
Keyboard horns? Nah...
Gr-10 horns my neighbors know about the gr-20 horns bahahaha
This is BS (3 Rivers was grazed by 95), content is fine providence is BS...
After its closing, Three Rivers Stadium was imploded in 2001, and the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers moved into newly built stadiums: PNC Park and Heinz Field, respectively.
As someone who was at this show - I beg to differ :-)
