I was looking at the S6 because it's in my price range, so I saw this video and was like, oh cool I'll go buy the DJI Spark...went to do so, and it's double the price. What I'm saying is - I found your video misleading.
Exactly. S6 costs almost half as compared to Spark. S6 is the best and coolest "within its price range". While same is true for Spark. Spart is the best drone you can get in its own price range.
I see this video came out on July of 2017. Since then I have heard that there have been many updates that addressed a lot of the early problems it had. Since this video was done have you kept up with the updates and if so how is it now? Thanks!
It's so frustrating as I would love to have a Wingsland S6 because of it's design but as all reviews say don't get it I will have to wait and see if Wingsland resolve all the issues.
i've heard wingsland has made some major firmware upgrades recently. might wanna try updating the S6 and giving it another try now. from what i understand they've fixed pretty much everything, and its selling for $150 now which if all of the above is true makes buying one a no-brainer.
i had 2 wingsland s6's and one flew away on me at 400 ft as it started to toilet bowl while starting to desend.i wish the company had of worked on the firmware more as it had potential to be a good drone, the camera was good with EIS and with a bluetooth controller it did fly good,on that note you could use any bluetooth controller with it , even a playstation 3 controller as long as you had a certain app to connect it.It's a shame the company went under as the drone had a great build quality
My first thought was this is silly, they aren't in the same class (as others have said) but then I realized, before I bought my Spark I was considering the S6. It looks cool, it's a better price point than the Spark, Says it has a better camera and for somebody looking to spend $300 to $600 for a good drone, it appears to be a good choice. I appreciated the review since I was recently considering both drones. I just decided which was the better choice, luckily before I purchased the S6.
Zerotech dobby, Wingsland S6 or Yuneec Breeze or which other drones under $200 are the best for filming places from above? I don't know if I really want to spend $400 on sparky it is so much...
Dude the S6 is like my 5th drone i bought and have it now for over 1 month without any problems even in the fast mode. And like others already said....those 2 drones are different classes and prices. It seems more like youve got a software problem or you cant fly a drone.
@@utkarshsingh8313 No i dont recomend you to buy the s6. She was nice a few years ago, but now she isnt worth the money and batteries are her biggest weaknes. I have the S6 and i had problems with all my 4 batteries and they died.
Dude, you’re comparing apples to oranges. I own both, DJI Spark and Wingsland S6 ( one was a gift ). Although the DJI is a better selfie drone, it’s also 3 times the price. Is the DJI 3 x better than the S6? NO WAY! For those wanting a drone for selfie applications , with GPS, etc..., the Wingsland S6 is the perfect drone.
I pop the battery out of my s6 no problem. It may be just simple manufacturing tolerances that some are more difficult to open than others. But sounds like this guy is in DJIs pocket.
Travis Pflanz or grow some figure nails. I’ve got no problem with wingsland controllability. Latest update installed and its rock solid. I’m at the beach in the Gulf Coast the week. Lots of wind coming off the Gulf. Last night launched The wingsland and had no problems. It was Rock solid. Best $130 purchase I have ever made.
Owning both Spark and Winglsand s6 and watching this joke of a video I can say you are misleading people. WTF you are trying NOT to get the battery out pulling from all the wrong place everythime. It's simple just stick your thumb under the clip and battery comes out. Secondly on the losing control, it is clear that what you have is toiled bawl effect meaning that you intentionally or unintentionally didn't calibrate the drone. You are again saying not to grab it right away.... WTF? it is warm but not hot enough to burn. It is clear that Spark is a better drone, no doubt here but for 159$ wingsland s6 is a very very good buy. Portability and design wise S6 is great.
Joker18 I got the s6 a few days ago and tbh it’s really great, I owned a shittier drone with a crappy remote that honestly just flew itself but this one seems to actually work accordingly 😄
I have not had any problems with my S6. I can't be that lucky that so many people have had problems with theirs yet mine is working fine. Yes, I'm flying from my iPhone 6s Plus AND my Samsung Galaxy E tablet and the control has been fine except when I hit the threshold on the drone or the wifi activity in my area (south side of Chicago) is pretty busy. I've only been able to get it as high as 66 meters before the connection breaks. I followed the instructions to the letter, downloaded the recent firmware and always calibrate the drone before each flight. No problems. Personally, this drone is NOT comparable to the Spark except for the cameras. 100m max ceiling and distance with a top speed of 4 m/s vs 1.2 miles distance and top speed of 29 mph for the Spark. The Spark is a different beast altogether.
I have owned both a S6 and a Spark and couldn't agree more with everything you have said. My S6 flew for 60 seconds, it was unstable and crash landed in to soft carpet. One of the motors burnt out and that was the end of it. The S6 looks awesome, mine was in camo, but you can't compare it to a Spark, the S6 is a very good looking, expensive toy that is as best only going to disappoint. Now the Spark, as you have shown just works great, it is stable and out performs the S6 in every aspect. The Spark is even better with the optional remote controller, a massive increase in range and controllability. Clearly they are not in the same class, if you want a great looking model, buy the S6. However, if you want a great little drone that just works and flies really well buy the Spark. Despite the fact that I downloaded the latest S6 firmware and app, there was lots of functionality missing and a number of bugs, or things that just didn't work. Anyone who reckons a S6 is better than a Spark has clearly never flown a Spark or other decent drone, your video is bang on the money.
I think you're missing a pretty huge part of this whole thing. That dji spark without controller is 500 dollars. The s6 is less than half that. If we were talking value, the s6 way more worth it for the money. With practice and patience, you CAN learn to fly either drone just as well. Just my input, that not everone wants to spend 500 dollars on a flying camera. And of course the spark is better, it's more than twice as expensive.
That actually doesn't sound as wrong as everybody thinks, since dji is a quite well known company I'd say a good portion of that price is for their name and software.
Full Throttle Drones & More unfortunately this is so true, I brought an s6 and the battery only lasted for like a minute of flight and than it would land itself I tried to tell myself that eventually the battery would work properly but it never did and I'm done trying to make the best of the s6 and in the process of returning the s6.
pretty much everyone tyhat has reviewed the S6 and has had battery issues has contacted Wingsland and got a replacement battery that worked perfectly for free...
Never had a Problem with my S6! By the way, charching time is 40-45min, flighttime around 7min, and Videos in 1080p get captured in 60fps not 30fps.
👌

The Wingsland S6 and the DJI Spark are in an entirely different class, they're not comparable.
Agreed, not a good comparison

Considering can pick one of these up for as little as 150usd I would suggest people buy it over the spark.
Flying and especially filming while flying is supposed to be fun and deliver good quality material though.

I agree, this is NOT an objective comparison.
Fly Bar any videos? Im thinking about buying a wingsland but it gets all negative feedbacks, i heard the new software fixed alot of problems
nice video man. Love my spark

It's not because S6 is bad, just spark is so awesome. If DJI never happen, S6 could be good drone.
If wingsland had put the camera from the s6 in the m5, I would definitely buy the m5, but now it's just to bad (both).
The Wingsland S6 is a mess, glad I waited for the Spark to be released before I bought a selfie quad.
nice job flying almost between people
Wingsland s6 would make a great fpv racer
Sound like a baby when you fast forward taking out the battery
Cool review

The Spark has GPS/GLONAS hence its so easy to fly.. it stabilizes itself every time you let go of the sticks..
"It's a nightmare" LOL.
you are comparing a 200 dollar drone to a 400 dollar drone
I could compare your brain to a gold fishes
OH DANG OH OH DANG OH DEM ROASTS THO!!!!!!
That actually doesn't sound as wrong as everybody thinks, since dji is a quite well known company I'd say a good portion of that price is for their name and software.
Great video thank you
All the people that haves the s6 are just trying to defend it because they don’t want to face the fact that it isn’t that good.

You need to have the drone in sight it’s s law
Where's that reg? What's the point of fpv then?
The Wingsland company has gone under, and they are selling old stock cheaply, good luck getting parts for it
Good video
Tjis video is more to make dji better but i need a person with more confident. I see the video and dont convince me to much
Too broke to buy a drone at this moment
I ❤️ Spark
Why would you compare a 60 vs 360 bucks drone ? Wtf is this video ?
I'd rather have wingsland S6 any day because I have special equipment
its not better than the spark in any way, apart from the price, but then again you get what you pay for.
There’s a reason DJI is a household brand and that I’ve never heard of that pathetic excuse for a drone, that wingsland did not shoot 4K
Wingsland s6
