For those trying to figure our how to play this beautiful arrangement, as well as being in dropped D, it looks like he has downtuned the B string to A and the high E string to D.

Does anyone know how he does those slap harmonics? Absolutely brilliant.
He has tuned down the B string to A. From what I can surmise, the sound comes from seventh fret on D string and open B (downtuned to A) string, and then second fret G string with open downtuned B string again, but I can't for the life of me figure out how he manages to get the beautiful harmonic resonance sound. It's fabulous and technically brilliant.
I suspect the harmonic comes from the first string and the open B (A) rings through and creates the beautiful ringing harmonic sound. Technically I can't figure out how he does it though - especially creating a harmonic off the second fret on G string. Seems near impossible to me!

Thanks! I work all my arrangement out by ear. This one is really just based around the original guitar part and the melody with some little variations. But finding a way that it fits on the guitar really smoothly makes for those nice flowing verses 👍🏼

There's defo some reverb on the guitar track, maybe even a bit of saturation and compression. What's more important tho is his clean and dynamic performance
