@@conservativehippie9736 Don’t worry about richardrichter, he’s the known-it-all type who knows nothing, as he fails while discussing the absence of a toilet. Great comedy though
Now. Look into getting that Japanese furniture that morphes into bigger or smaller furniture and work on making it part of a package. Have enginers make it where the furniture sits in the middle of the trailer and can pop out wheels, to move furniture to the desired location, and pop back flat on non-skid legs. Make it where the furniture locks and slides into itself, stacking and safe to travel with it in the middle of the closed system trailer. Also, make support legs for the extensions, so the trailer doesn't tilt and has support to prevent bent or broken extensions. But for now, great job. 👍
You almost had me ready to pull out that credit card, then near the end I realized it was not going to work for me… NO SHOWER NO TOILET. Not even an option to have one installed due to the current design.
Wasn’t there something like „defense“?…. Maybe a Field hospital, a Command and Control Room, a meeting room? This is clearly a demonstrator for a expandable „Room“.
69K base model...yet I sit in a lil house all redone with full bsmt and she shed out back on an acre. Selling price 65K....I see a major problem here folks
I wonder how it handles extreme weather. The concept isn't bad but only about half way to a usable product. Wind loads, high temps , low temps ( below zero ) Hail and thunderstorms, etc. Weight loads both hauling and deployed. I was in the military and dealt with mobility stuff all of the time. Hurry up , break camp, then hurry up set up camp. They used many forms of temporary shelters and some semi permanent.
Its built for Northern European climate. Our trailers are used all year around in Estonia the temperature will drop to minus 25 degrees Celsius. Our built units are superior in terms of insulation and weatherproofing compared to standard caravans or RVs
What are the R value ratings , wind load ratings and snow load ratings? It looked pretty flimsy and lightweight when it was being deployed. One person lifting a wall unit with just the help of gas charged shocks means that it must be light weight. RV super slides have electric motor drives and gearing to slide them out due to the weight. Some have hydraulics. I am just skeptical.@@rollingunit
So as a permanent base camp or mobile field office this makes ok sense. For camping it is useless. All the setup without any creature comforts like a bathroom or a place to sit. All your furniture has to be mobile so you can move it every single time you move the trailer. Just what you want to do after spending hours driving to your ideal location, spend the rest of the day setting up furniture and looking for a place to poop and shower. I would pass. Oh and as an office? no bathroom, fail again. This could only be used as an additional building to a component building concept.
Lol at all these fools asking "where is the bathroom where is the kitchen". It's not a camper. Not meant for camping. It's a Mobile office. Mobile trade show display. Mobile store. Slide all your racks and furniture into the middle and fold it up. Get to where you are going, then unfold it and place all your furniture and racks. I've pulled a mobile office/store all over the country for the last 8 years and I love this concept. 👏🏻 👏🏻
Nice and compact, but you need to tow a cargo pod with the "stuff" that you'll need inside once you are camped. Sad it doesn't have a design that includes the typical stuff in it.
Needs support's under the fold out floors on the outer edge..gas cook top /microwave and bar fridge would be a good thing to have.. toilet might come in handy too..this unit seems lower than the first!!.
an interesting concept trailer. A used car lot office or use at county fair exhibit unit. Where are the solar panels? Has much more to have done to. Would not want to be where winds are strong.
If you’re a military Coordination point, a realtor, a vendor, and needed a mobile control center for a project THIS is it. Not a lot of things, but it’s a mobile [fill in the usage].
These flip outs are becoming popular. I built 1 in 2019 that has ac, small wood stove, propane, water storage /supply and power hook up. with a solar system and access control and security camera system. Under $5k. Dont over pay for the convenience of already built yall.
@@captainobvious9188 oh, sure, wait six weeks possibly three months to get replacements and then have to install them. In the meantime the pieces are falling down and you can’t do anything with your trailer.
China , has the same foldable 40 foot CANTAINERS. For $9.000, but when you set it up.( Yes you have to have cinder blocks, under it but.) You have a ready made two bed room. A full bath room all done.( Yes you have to run water to it, and waist line connected to it.) But unfolded it's a damn house. Kitchen, living room, front door, bed rooms, windows.... And there less than 10 grand... For, $70.000, you can buy a fifth wheel RV, pimped out...
7.62 is quite hard as it would make it so heavy that it wold be a lorry trailer then however it is possible to laminate Kevlar layers into the sandwich panels witch would give some shrapnel and small arms protection...
Superbe idée, mais je virerais la climatisation pour installer une douche et un toilette, au centre j'installerai un canapé qui s'emboite les uns avec les autres, une cuisine également. Tout sûr mesure bien évidement. Magnifique.
because you know you have to pull them back down again. They are just perfect as they are and the fordable walls push the roof the last centimeters very nicely up and when closing you are still able to reach it...
Как летний вариант пойдёт, но нужен ещё один прицеп, для вещей, мебели, туалета, душа, и т.п., и зачем он тогда нужен? Проще автодом купить, уже готовый

Where is the solar? Three big flat surfaces. Could have 8k of solar and lithium ion batteries. With some kind of rain catchment, you would be off grid and moble. 🎉
$70K and no bathroom, these people are high on their own supply.
Do you realize that this is mainly meant for companies and military right??
@@richardrichter3904 ... so...🤔 those people don't have to use a bathroom? Ever?🤭 Most offices have restrooms 💁🏼♀️
@richardrichter3904 why did they put out to public then? Explain that please

@garygolfer3243 🤝 I have a camping toilet and that's AOK with me
Makes a nice mobile prayer room!
The vid is FASCINATING , MESMERIZING. Thanks .

I love those items. Too bad can't find them here is USA.
Wow that’s really cool and I love it
Might be good for a transportable pop-up retail concept (Think NASCAR Circuit) not much else IMHO
Great setting up in the rain. Or stopping on side of road for a cuppa. Or, driving on bad roads, not much ground clearance... 😅
This is great for a camper, with some tweaks. But I think this is meant for a mobile office.
What is the point of this? No bathroom, no kitchen, you have to have an additional trailer to carry your stuff, and 70k….
I think it's maybe meant to be an office? Perhaps in a warzone? It is labeled Defence..
I agree

Are there manual backup's for all those functions ... power loss or outages Must be figured into this kind of project.
Spacious and beautiful interior

It is a mobile command center.
Creo que serviría para oficinas transportables. Aseguraría si con patas los costados para soportar yprso.
Just need support legs on the extensions. I have seen others try this and learned the hard way.

It is more of a mobile office space than a conventional camping trailer. It just wont work as a camping trailer as we know it. It is too heavy.
Seems like a lot of $ for a shell? They got used to military spending budgets, not regular people' 😢.
Yep, not impressed to see all that expansion for one drawer.
Exactly
Agreed

Where do you put all the furniture 🤔🤔🤔

Genious idea.. But not much lux without a toilet 😅
This is really an awesome concept, technology is really advancing, what kind of insulation value does that thing have?
Very nice!
nice❤❤❤❤
What could possibly go wrong with the technology gizmos?😂

You need a truck always following you to get all your stuff !
The US military has had these for decades. Mobile command centers.

That’s really nice, but what are you gonna do when those gas struts start to leak? And they will leak.
Or your phone breaks?
Replace them?

Not having a dedicated StarLink connector on the outside of the unit and having to run the cable through an open door or window is a complete FAIL.
awesome design, where are these made and distributed.
Hi, We make them here in Estonia and currently distribute in Europe but started to do this also on the US market.
I hope it does not get hacked!
👍🎯
Fantastic Awesome Amazing Fabulous I Like I Love ❤
Idée geniale😊
Great, but be sure to bring your Depends, wet wipes, and self heating MRE’s.
No crapper?
Wow where's the kitchen and bathroom????
Where can we buy
What the price
Is it a mobile office
Would make a portable building for a church or political rally possibly a police office for teaching primary students law habits used daily.
Why didn't they edit out the part where the struts weren't strong enough to push the roof all the way up 😂
because you know you have to pull them back down again. They are just perfect as they are and the fordable walls push the roof the last centimeters very nicely up and when closing you are still able to reach it...
Typical question from an American. Add stronger struts, add more weight and cost. Maybe you need some work to keep fit?
i predict that thing is going to have at least 6 leaks the first year. more if you use it for a trip.
Yeah need solar throughout with a battery system a bathroom and shower washer and dryer and a water generator system then we can talk
Quick question. Why would I need this? I could just buy a shipping container.
👍💯
That’s got to be a heavy trailer and as pointed out it empty.
You can keep it
That's Insane! So Cool ... they should be make campers like this too!
They already do. Please try to catch up.
Try setting it up in a state park or other campground. Not enough room. You would only be able to boondock.
If the (new) cylinders cannot fully raise the sides , they will not last long.
Needs poon toons and deck and 40 hp with beers😂😂😂
Yeah, the gas strut thing is bad. Use cables and a retractable beam(s) at each end. Also, toilets, showers, they are kinda required.
Whp came here cos of the Starlink?
Family compactor.
so its just a mobile office, would be awesome if it were a travel trailer
Как летний вариант пойдёт, но нужен ещё один прицеп, для вещей, мебели, туалета, душа, и т.п., и зачем он тогда нужен? Проще автодом купить, уже готовый
This would be good for temporary housing for storm damage or tiny home living or temporary office space
Bathroom, kitchen?
for such a name, Maru Defence, i'd expect it's environmental resistant. At the point to be comfortable even in a snowstorm, without using the A\C..
Its built for Northern European climate. Our trailers are used all year around in Estonia the temperature will drop to minus 25 degrees Celsius. Our built units are superior in terms of insulation and weatherproofing compared to standard caravans or RVs

What is the intended use? I'm not seeing it.
This model is a mobile showroom but it an be outfitted with various interiors like command post, medical clinic, make up traile etc...
It's very nice but not safe for those big glass window and the door! 😂
Security issues! Be easily break in!!
Good concept but the follow thru leaves a lot to be desired. Really do like the steps and opening at the back. $70 thousand empty? 😂😂
You can buy a lot of camper for
70k ! With all of the amenities!!
(Jus sayin)
Всё хорошо только как быть с туалетом, душевой, мебель? На крышу можно установить солнечные панели. Недоработка.
Und ein Hänger mit den ganzen Möbel und klamoten die man braucht
Needs more windows.
Nothing stunning about it. For the price.
Where is the sofa and bed😅😅Hand Carry 😂😂😂
сколько стоит?
Base model 69k
All the furniture to fill up the trailer in use, won't fit in the trailer in transit...
That would have been great at Burning Man until all the porta potties started running over.
You need stronger gas struts
Where is the solar? Three big flat surfaces. Could have 8k of solar and lithium ion batteries. With some kind of rain catchment, you would be off grid and moble. 🎉
So you took a regular camper with slide-outs and overcomplicated it and overcharged. Good luck. 🙄
😂😢
Agree. An exercise in futility. Now back to watching paint dry.
$70K hard pass !!!
Ingenious concept for military or homeless
either one will cost tax payers millions
What's special about their motors compared to existing motors available for EV conversions?? edit: oops, comment somehow went to wrong video :(
Price! :D
There should be feet under the sides after they are out! All that weight and people in them would not be good
Und wo die Möbel und Bett
add a wet bathroom.
But there's no furniture or appliances...
Wtf we’re is the TOILET 🚽 AND SHOWER?
It’s nice. But every time you have to do that 🤔 What about furniture. You have to decorate also every time as well 👎 it’s like moving.
