I wanted to go to Mount Fuji but the when I was in Tokyo, they were closed and couldn’t go up. If you want the strongest and best and most intense matcha ice cream you Would have to go to the popular Suzukien in Asakusa. You should also try green tea Yaki soba over there it’s so good. I have been at Fuji Five Lakes this spring. The weather was perfect. The sakura trees were in full bloom. But I rented a bicycle. Riding around the lakes was great. The ropeway. Oshino Hakkai. Eating a nice cup of ice cream at Fuso Ann where I met a great Japanese guy. Great area. On the way to Fuji/Fujiyoshida i stopped at the Maglev Exhibition Center where they have a test track for the new Maglev train that will connect Tokyo - Nagoya - Osaka. I was lucky enough that they did test runs on the day I was there. Great experience.
