Yea seems counter intuitive that more weight up front would be quicker but cat boats have a certain cg that they perform best at and with the weight to far to the rear, yes less boat is touching the water but the front quickly lifts too high and won’t let the boat go much faster before catching air and lifting off. With the weight all the way forward, you be able to go quicker before that speed wall is reached (front raising to much and catching air). As for the batteries moving, just stick a piece of pool noodle or styrofoam the size of the gap in the free space to prevent them from sliding back. Much easier and actually beneficial in a crash to prevent the rear from sinking
Haha whatever floats ur boat :) I’ve put in a seaking 120 esc in mine and debating picking up some rc boat blitz trim tabs to keep the front from lifting as much so we’ll see how she runs. Cheers man, I’ll sub and stay tuned for future updates
Change your motor water jacket they vibrate open at full speed and make water leak ok so the boats gets water in it And you must alway strap your battery’s in no matter what
