Are you referring to one war in particular as there are currently wars in Palestine, Sudan, Mayenmar, Ukraine, Haiti & Sahel? Go back in time, the USA was still living life to the full despite the Vietnam war. Korean war, the USA and Britain along with many UN troops were fighting in a war far bigger than any wars going in 2024 but life didn't stop.
