You should try kale pesto , it's so yummy! Kale boiled for 8 mins ,salt, nooch, almonds and walnuts,a little bit of olive oil and a little bit of fresh garlic to taste,no lemon juice needed, this is the italian way

Thank you for doing a realistic fridge video. It’s nice to see how you approach it as well when you have nothing around the house to eat. I think the videos that you don’t plan actually are the most beneficial because it’s ones we can relate to the most.

omg I left one lone carrot in there for too long and when I found it it was squishy and shrivelled so I was like well now I know what an off carrot looks like.

I got a shark steam mop at the thrift store and I LOVE it. It won't pick up anything but it cleans the floor and since it uses steam, it's nontoxic! You just throw the little mop cover in the washing machine and it's completely clean again, so less waste than a Swiffer or other disposable type floor cleaner.

I like to add Field Roast's "Italian" veggie dog into my baked pasta dishes. I just crumble it with my fingers and sautee it in a pan before adding it to the cooked pasta. It looks and smells just like you added in italian sausage, I even fooled a co-worker in the lunchroom who commented on how good my lunch smelled!

don't get a mop!!!! invest in a floor steamer. they aren't crazy expensive and are worth the buy. mops waste on water and cleaning products (natural or not). they simply just work. easier and less frustrating to use. clean beautifully. they actually disinfect. have reusable//washable pads!!

  • @patsycav

Caitlin, I shop for one month, instead of a week or two. It's easier than shopping online more often. The kale looks okay, you can tell it's not fresh enough if it is yellow. Also, spoiled greens get a foul smell. My collard greens last pretty long, so I buy two bags at a time and only make one bag at a time in the crock pot with onion, turmeric, and black pepper. I do the same with kale. You have become an expert...wow...Go and cook that kale, now girl, before it spoils. (it's okay if it gets a little limp, as long as it doesn't smell bad and isn't yellow) Hope this helps. Happy days.

The best way to prepare buckwheat is to cook it until soft, drain as much water as you can and serve with a little salt and vegan butter. And it needs to be butter, no other fat can replace it.

May not be the mostttt eco friendly. But I got a Rubbermaid kit at my Sam’s Club that has washable pads (it comes with two) and a bottle that you fill on your own (which spritzes out on the floor). It doesn’t use batteries or anything. I use super hot water and a little soap of choice and it does the trick. And you can keep using it forever

I didn't watch all this, but if your greens don't have protein, they have vegan protein with both pea and brown rice protein + greens, or you can mix your own greens with it. This makes up for the amino acids that are often lacking in the vegan diet. Some brands are even organic. If I go vegan, that would be a must, because it's really hard to get the full spectrum of aminos that we need.
