You should try kale pesto , it's so yummy! Kale boiled for 8 mins ,salt, nooch, almonds and walnuts,a little bit of olive oil and a little bit of fresh garlic to taste,no lemon juice needed, this is the italian way
Thank you for doing a realistic fridge video. It’s nice to see how you approach it as well when you have nothing around the house to eat. I think the videos that you don’t plan actually are the most beneficial because it’s ones we can relate to the most.
If you haven't tried mixing ground flaxseed + nutritional yeast you're missing out!! I add herb salt and garlic powder and it's like the healthiest parmesan ever 👌🙌
I’m Mel it is better for them but if you live in a place which is kinda cool, like 20 degrees celsius you don't have to worry about your seeds getting bad :)
omg I left one lone carrot in there for too long and when I found it it was squishy and shrivelled so I was like well now I know what an off carrot looks like.
I got a shark steam mop at the thrift store and I LOVE it. It won't pick up anything but it cleans the floor and since it uses steam, it's nontoxic! You just throw the little mop cover in the washing machine and it's completely clean again, so less waste than a Swiffer or other disposable type floor cleaner.
I like to add Field Roast's "Italian" veggie dog into my baked pasta dishes. I just crumble it with my fingers and sautee it in a pan before adding it to the cooked pasta. It looks and smells just like you added in italian sausage, I even fooled a co-worker in the lunchroom who commented on how good my lunch smelled!
don't get a mop!!!! invest in a floor steamer. they aren't crazy expensive and are worth the buy. mops waste on water and cleaning products (natural or not). they simply just work. easier and less frustrating to use. clean beautifully. they actually disinfect. have reusable//washable pads!!
Caitlin, I shop for one month, instead of a week or two. It's easier than shopping online more often. The kale looks okay, you can tell it's not fresh enough if it is yellow. Also, spoiled greens get a foul smell. My collard greens last pretty long, so I buy two bags at a time and only make one bag at a time in the crock pot with onion, turmeric, and black pepper. I do the same with kale. You have become an expert...wow...Go and cook that kale, now girl, before it spoils. (it's okay if it gets a little limp, as long as it doesn't smell bad and isn't yellow) Hope this helps. Happy days.
Please make more videos like this!!! I love getting to know you as a person...I fell the reason I watch you over other youtubers is bc you’re real and I can relate to your diet and lifestyle. ☺️☺️☺️ thank you so much Caitlin!!!
This might be odd but I think your personality comes out a lot more through vlogs, and I love it! Your sense of humour is 10/10 and super genuine. Also, that cat is so cute!!
Not a vegetarian or vegan, but if this lady were to cook food for me, I would probably eat it all without complaints. Super creative and tasty looking food!
That Amazing Grass stuff is a lifesaver!!!! I bought it not really thinking it was anything brilliant. But, after taking it daily for a couple months, I don't ever get any intestinal problems. I've got somewhat of IBS issues. Get the chocolate one!!! The Holiday flavors, yesss!
One cool trick to preserve carrots is to put them in a container with cold water and keep it in the fridge, I think I've had carrots that have stayed good for up to three weeks that way
Hi Lovely :) any ideas on "no waste/compostable" gift wrapping for Christmas? Big Loves to you and all the hard work you do on such wonderful and inspiring videos :)
The best way to prepare buckwheat is to cook it until soft, drain as much water as you can and serve with a little salt and vegan butter. And it needs to be butter, no other fat can replace it.
May not be the mostttt eco friendly. But I got a Rubbermaid kit at my Sam’s Club that has washable pads (it comes with two) and a bottle that you fill on your own (which spritzes out on the floor). It doesn’t use batteries or anything. I use super hot water and a little soap of choice and it does the trick. And you can keep using it forever
How did you learn to put recipes together without looking at other recipes? I’m really into health and love cooking but find it hard to make food without looking at a recipe. I want to learn to make delicious food myself and make my own creations like you (:
I use vinegar with water, and tea tree oil (cleaning properties), and orange scent because I like it!! I don't use a mop, I use my hands and knees because my kitchen is really small. My sister and my mom are cat people. Sakura my sister's cat might pass away this year.
Wow I really enjoyed touring your fridge more than I thought I would. Lol Although my OCD was kicking in a bit when we got to the freezer. Well-stocked with goodies though!
caithlin, how much would you say you drink on average per day? my GP told me to stop drinking so much, i drink about 4 liter a day, which seems like a lot and he's worried about my health, i'm trying to decrease the amount but i'm just wondering how much you drink because you also seem to be drinking quite a lot?
Gashinax from what I’ve seen, 3 liters or so of water, and then a bunch of other liquids. Could be wrong, but that’s what I’ve gathered. I was worried too.
My fridge and pantry look similar! So glad someone can relate 💚 the pasta looks SO GOOD! I’m obsessed with the Banza pasta too! 👌 Funny how there’s so many halo top pints-I actually really like them! LOL!
I used to have a mop to clean my apartment however it's for convenient to use a floor steamer and it takes up less space, and does a better job of cleaning tbe floors. Maybe consider?
I love these types of videos! It's fun to see you create these meals on the fly. Most of the time I'm foraging around my fridge and pantry too 😆 thanks for the awesome video!
I didn't watch all this, but if your greens don't have protein, they have vegan protein with both pea and brown rice protein + greens, or you can mix your own greens with it. This makes up for the amino acids that are often lacking in the vegan diet. Some brands are even organic. If I go vegan, that would be a must, because it's really hard to get the full spectrum of aminos that we need.
I use old t shirts and other fabric for cleaning all the time! Instead of a real mop I just attach a piece of the fabric to my Swiffer and reuse that as much as possible before I just toss them
Wait... Omg I've been binge watching your videos and I'm just now hearing that you're from Maryland!! I feel like no UA-camr is from there and it's so nice to see one from my home state. If you don't mind me asking, what part are you from?
That fridge tour gave me anxiety . I can’t deal with that , I would suggest putting everything away in Tupperware wear and store it , you can stack stuff up on each other and label it , it stays clean and organized. Thanks !
I think you should check out the eco egg! I do not consider myself a very mindful or environment friendly person, but I found the eco egg online and it is amazing. I live alone and have basically not bought laundry detergent in over one and a half years because of this simple and genius product :)
You live in miami... girl get the cuban mop! Its a wooden mop stick that of course you can buy a fabric at the store but i just use an old towel cut a tiny hole in the middle and bam! Mop!
damn those tortillas are so expensive haha, i see them all the time at WF. but they are the least processed. i swear when i get a good paying job i'm gonna invest in least processed foods even if they are pricier.
You should try kale pesto , it's so yummy! Kale boiled for 8 mins ,salt, nooch, almonds and walnuts,a little bit of olive oil and a little bit of fresh garlic to taste,no lemon juice needed, this is the italian way

Honestly, I look forward to the days you post videos so much!!! You have no idea how much of an inspiration you are to me!
It's strangely comforting to see a fridge stocked with vegan food :)
It's also clean!!!! Clean food. Nothing that will make one sick.
If you haven't tried mixing ground flaxseed + nutritional yeast you're missing out!! I add herb salt and garlic powder and it's like the healthiest parmesan ever 👌🙌
*quickly puts hemp & flax seeds in the fridge* 😅
I’m Mel You should actually put them in the freezer :)
I’m Mel it is better for them but if you live in a place which is kinda cool, like 20 degrees celsius you don't have to worry about your seeds getting bad :)
I’m Mel whoops. my flax are out. what about pumpkin seeds????
I also put my pumkin seeds out of my fridge ... 😅😅
😆
i am comforted by seeing a fridge with moldy carrots in it. this happens to me once in awhile and i felt like a bad vegan.
omg I left one lone carrot in there for too long and when I found it it was squishy and shrivelled so I was like well now I know what an off carrot looks like.
Love the fact that ur very transparent to your audience!
Nice to see an HONEST fridge tour :) Many UA-camrs glamorize their place before filming :))))
I got a shark steam mop at the thrift store and I LOVE it. It won't pick up anything but it cleans the floor and since it uses steam, it's nontoxic! Can you make a video with pasta recipes , italian steyle . Your Videos are very inspiring. You are the best vegan 😻🤙🏼🌱
^ Yes, I do! Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/U77t2N8_jJ0/v-deo.html

I missed these types of videos so much it's just so effortless and casual ❤️❤️❤️
My cat jumped onto my lap at the same time your roommates cat jumped up to you in the video. What a sweetie!
awww that is so precious!
This might be odd but I think your personality comes out a lot more through vlogs, and I love it! Your sense of humour is 10/10 and super genuine. Also, that cat is so cute!!
Also I love your videos. They are very relatable and helpful to living cheap and friendly
Not a vegetarian or vegan, but if this lady were to cook food for me, I would probably eat it all without complaints. Super creative and tasty looking food!
Vegan crockpot recipes could be awesome!
i love how much you're posting 😍 thanks for making your recipes so yummy and easy
MirandaDiBeauty she's doing vlogmas 🌲🎁😄
For a mop- I have a swiffer mop thing, but use an old wash cloth (instead of the ones you can buy for it) and then you can just wash it and reuse it.

These types of videos make you seem so much more relatable! Love it!
Hi Lovely :) any ideas on "no waste/compostable" gift wrapping for Christmas? Big Loves to you and all the hard work you do on such wonderful and inspiring videos :)
I love how easily you were able to make meals with such little ingredients! Enjoyed this video! 🙂
I laughed so hard at your carrots! :'D I love the vlog-style videos, very laid-back.
I use a steam mop. I also use my mom’s old fashioned way of mopping. Attach old T-shirt or kitchen towel to mop handle and use that.
The best way to prepare buckwheat is to cook it until soft, drain as much water as you can and serve with a little salt and vegan butter. And it needs to be butter, no other fat can replace it.
I’ve been a junky eater for a long time but recently decided that I wanted to make a change and your videos are really helpful:) thanks a bunch.
I love my mop: an O-Cedar Easywring spin mop, you can get it at Walmart and probably a lot of other stores as well
May not be the mostttt eco friendly.
I bought a “mop” at big lots that has a terry cloth pad you remove and wash. And it has a container you fill with your own cleaning products.
I tried that Ricewhip a while ago and I thought it tasted like sawdust, the Trader Joes coconut one is so much better in my opinion
Found your channel through No Egg Craig's channel when you met up at a veg fest! Love your simple meal ideas 👍🏻
Also #kombuchaGoals wish I had that much 'buch in my fridge lol🙏🏽❤️
The ending was adorable!😻
I love this video!! You really showed your true, real self. Love it!!
Omg please can you film zoro more he is sooooo cute (but don’t film less of everything else lol) you are such a great youtuber!!
How did you learn to put recipes together without looking at other recipes? I’m really into health and love cooking but find it hard to make food without looking at a recipe. I want to learn to make delicious food myself and make my own creations like you (:
We made homemade chili fries last night and I put so much nooch on top ❤️
I use vinegar with water, and tea tree oil (cleaning properties), and orange scent because I like it!! I don't use a mop, I use my hands and knees because my kitchen is really small. My sister and my mom are cat people. Sakura my sister's cat might pass away this year.
Wow! It's like in it's low 50's here in Texas🌬❄🌫🌨
instead of using a mop, get a steamer! i find it cleans a lot better.. and its just water
I HAVE A MOP SUGGESTION 👋🏼👋🏼
Ik this is really old but the Norwex mops, expensive as they are, are fantastic
Convinced you live off of Kombucha 😂 Love the realness of this video though!
You need to grow your own kombucha!!! It's super easy and fulfilling and fun :)
Wow I really enjoyed touring your fridge more than I thought I would. Lol Although my OCD was kicking in a bit when we got to the freezer. Well-stocked with goodies though!
This video is my favorite among your videos!! Fridge, your room, cat!!!!!
caithlin, how much would you say you drink on average per day? my GP told me to stop drinking so much, i drink about 4 liter a day, which seems like a lot and he's worried about my health, i'm trying to decrease the amount but i'm just wondering how much you drink because you also seem to be drinking quite a lot?
Gashinax from what I’ve seen, 3 liters or so of water, and then a bunch of other liquids. Could be wrong, but that’s what I’ve gathered. I was worried too.
It depends also on how active you are.
My fridge and pantry look similar! So glad someone can relate 💚 the pasta looks SO GOOD! I’m obsessed with the Banza pasta too! 👌 Funny how there’s so many halo top pints-I actually really like them! LOL!
how have i only just come across your channel. Im inlove.
I used to have a mop to clean my apartment however it's for convenient to use a floor steamer and it takes up less space, and does a better job of cleaning tbe floors. Maybe consider?
THE HONEST STAND IS SOO GOOD! I miss getting it at Nooch in Denver. Nowhere in Omaha has it! :(
Yessss the holiday cheers flavor is sooo good!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽
Good idea on the old t shirts to clean!
I love these types of videos! It's fun to see you create these meals on the fly. Most of the time I'm foraging around my fridge and pantry too 😆 thanks for the awesome video!
*quickly subscribes after watching one vegan meal prep vid* because I’m a vegan and I need lunch ideas ! :)
the posters look interesting in your room. Could you do a brief explanation of what they represent and why you got them? Thanks!!! :3
girlllll that's so much kombucha and I can just imagine how much you had to spend on it. Have you considered fermenting your own?
I really appreciate how real you are🤗 you rock💫
Norwex mops are the bomb! On the pricier side, but definitely worth the investment

Tip: taking the vegetables out of the plastics help them to last longer, especially in a humid environment 😊
Wait... Omg I've been binge watching your videos and I'm just now hearing that you're from Maryland!! I feel like no UA-camr is from there and it's so nice to see one from my home state. If you don't mind me asking, what part are you from?

I use microfiber cloths to clean everything. The best way to clean. Greetings from europe
Stephanie S. Me too! Love them! :)
Hi Caitlin! Have you thought about using dryer balls instead of the dryer sheets?
I think you should check out the eco egg! I do not consider myself a very mindful or environment friendly person, but I found the eco egg online and it is amazing. I live alone and have basically not bought laundry detergent in over one and a half years because of this simple and genius product :)
I freeze my kale for smoothies!
Love your kombucha and chill shirt.
Get Cuban mop! Those things are amazing
What do you use for your fresh chopped garlic? I do it by hand currently, but I need something faster lol!
You live in miami... girl get the cuban mop! Its a wooden mop stick that of course you can buy a fabric at the store but i just use an old towel cut a tiny hole in the middle and bam! Mop!
You should make your own kombucha and sauerkraut, it's super easy!
Shydowyn she sometimes makes her own kraut :)
I love your talking videos so much! ❤
damn those tortillas are so expensive haha, i see them all the time at WF. but they are the least processed. i swear when i get a good paying job i'm gonna invest in least processed foods even if they are pricier.
Use a Cuban mop! They are so much better for the environment
YASSS FRIDGE TOUR!!
Why do you put your seeds in the fridge?
It's better to store them in there, they go rancid much faster at room temperature!
Amazing video! I loved it! ❤️
The pastas look delicious!🤤
I love Zoro!
When I saw that bag of kale in your fridge I immediately thought "potatoes. she's going to eat potatoes." 😹
I have the Berkey too! I love it so much! Oh my god how nice that it's so hot. It's also really nice in San Diego and I love it!!!
Kombucha goals! I need to find those gallon sized Health-Ades!
any luck?
Unfortunately, no! :(
Aw such a cute kittyyyyy cat 😱😍
Hi ! You probably already said it in another video, but I was wondering what are the vitamin B12 for ?
Shout out to all the Marylanders, unfortunately I live in NC now!
Kale is soooooo good!
SO MUCH KOMBUCHA omg my heart
Hey Caitlin, I wanted to know what are your favorite or recommended brands of kombucha, if you don’t mind sharing?
she literally shared her kombucha in her fridge so its obvious health ade is her favorite
Kylie Kay thanks love I realized that a while ago though just never deleted the comment 😂
I really like these types of vids! :)
So cute with the cat in the end
we have the same mattress topper and the same red broom! lol
Could you put the recipe you used to make the first bowl with the blueberries on top?
Another great video Caitlin!
Nutritional yeast is life ❤️
Do you know what size your Berkey is? I am tempted to buy one for my house because I want to stop drinking from the tap.
I really liked this video!
where do you get your forager project yogurt?
