When it came to my relationships I've been told I have red flags and I didn't want to question them out of fear of them thinking I have some ego. Even my current Girlfriend told me the same thing but seeing as she's more chill I asled her what might ne seen as a red flag. She told me that a guy is normally never really nice unless they want more. I had to explain that I was raised by my mom and taught to respect everyone and that I don't even have any desires like that due to some way my brain works. So if a girl says you have red flags, it could be that you're nice.

For the hotel job, I relate. I worked at a 4 star resort, and oh my god. It was the worst. Actually it was the opposite for me. The Mexican American coworkers were rude to everyone, especially me since I'm from China. They hated the idea that I'm a legal citizen, adopted at age 1. But the area I was working in is full of snobs of all sorts. Thankfully the new hotel I'm at today, everyone's treated as equals. Diversity and all. I can tell it's a big family ❤️❤️❤️

Older women who have been in long term relationships but separated likely had partners who love bombed them a lot, and were very manipulative or emotionally abusive. To the red flag guy: older women might see your niceness as you love bombing. For those who are not familiar with the term: love bombing is a tactic used by manipulative people where they seem too good to be true and just make you feel like the most special, important person in the world.. Only to then turn around and act like you now owe them a favor because 'I did all these nice things for' and hold you hostage over it. Older women who have been in long term relationships but separated likely had partners who love bombed them a lot, and were very manipulative or emotionally abusive. That's probably why they see it as a red flag. You aren't doing anything wrong, but for them it's just reminds them of stuff their ex partner probably did and they think you're too good to be true.

If I were OP, I probably would’ve just nipped it in the bud and reported her for child abandonment. I know people don’t want to get the parents in trouble because “think about their kids. They need their parents.” Dude, getting their kids out of that kind of environment is doing them a favor. A child cannot thrive in that kind of environment where the mother doesn’t even want them. What’s the point of custody if you’re going to act like a child yourself? I don’t have a lot of knowledge on this, but I’ve heard plenty of stories to know that it all comes down to the parents when it comes to their kids. I hope the ex-husband got custody of the kids and is raising them better than the sister

If she didn't want to handle kids she shouldn't have had them to begin with. You can't just drop them off and not care about them. I hope the police should take her to jail and the kids need to go to a better place to live. The hotel story is just crazy, I'd quit after the first day. How is this hotel still in business??? Seriously how?
