I am as big a fan of Abby Steiner as they come. Period. No qualifying statement. Having said this from the jump , the big story from the Tom Jones invitational came courtesy of the university of Tennesse and Im not seeing this first thing when I input " show resullts from all collegiate and professional womens track and field sprint events in 2024 ". Its irritating that I have to select my wording of queries two or three times to see and hear what should be the first thing I see in my feed. Am extremely happy for Abby and her first big test coming off of her surgery for that bone spur. I have Every confidence that she will be part of team USA in Paris this fall, because her work ethic and deep desire is equal to the as yet to be plumbed generational talent in those legs. Like so many others who are avid followers of Track & Field and more specifically USA T&F I deeply desire to see her focus shifted to what my lay persons intiition shouts at me as being her 2 best natural distances the 200 + 400m. USA womens sprinting is poised to shock the world this year in Paris and is fithy deep at 400m with Sydney looking to be the first womens sub 48 second quarter miler that wasn't obviously juicing. I think a triumverate of Athing Mu, Abby, and Sydney, in the 400 m sprint could very possibly give team USA a sweep at that distance if not for one woman.
I mean, can you give us the day(s) and times for when Abby will be racing? You can say go look but I did and I can't find it.

Ok, and this just an observation. Since Abby has come the track scene before and after surgery, there has been an underlying derogatory attitude toward her success by some folks. Interesting CC is running into the same attitude. I wonder what the common theme maybe is being stated by some people in the Sports world. What could it be? Here is a hint. They are the color of the page, and the others are the color of the words comment. Oh my, I hope I didn't offend someone.

On the off chance that the runners actually show up, (med staff please show up too) this could be a good race. (Its like buying tickets to a Lauren Hill concert. You just never know.)

I hope she makes the 4X400 meter relay team. I want to see her and Sydney smoke Femke Bol and Klaver in that race. It's the only time Femke and Sydney are going to go head to head in any race in the Olympics! So, let's get ready to Rumbleeeeeeeeee! 😉
She is better on 200 than 100. She needs to improve her take off the bloks for 100 meters.

@@aredditor4272 so far Abby has a 51 - 400 win and a 11 flat 100m win. I think that she will get personal bests for both the 100m and 200m and get a sub 50 by the seasons end🙂💪

11.05 100m is a great season start, though, wouldn't you say? Especially with legal wind and coming off an injury. 10.8 incoming

SHE WON'T BE WINNING THAT RACE AS ABBY IS A 200 METER RUNNER, IF SHE DOES IT WILL BE A MIRACLE. AND SHE LUCKED OUT WINNING THAT 400 MEER RACE RECENTLY, THERE WAS NO REAL COMPETETION, SO WILL SEE!

Lol come Olympic time she won't be winning anything but maybe a relay. She's not a contender with the tops of the sport
An achilles injury is the achilles heel of ANY sprinter. Her best chance this yr will be to make the team in the 400m.
Luck? She's spent the last 1.5 years with a bone spur that has been surgically corrected. She delayed her season start this year compared to the last 2. She has trained hard, she earned the lead over the first 200. There was no luck involved.
