thanks a lot for those valuable informations and update , frankly as foreigne skill worker , immigration project to canada become extremly tricky , through EE stream ,IRCC require the perfect profil with CEC ,PHD age less than 30 , IELTS CLB 8 above and TEF NCLC 9 ......last draw was () incredible CRS 533 ( impossible to reach for foreign candidats ) ,as french speaker it not a piece of cake , i cross the finger for the next couple month. bonne continuation from paris

My husband got a job via LMIA and my two children and I got sponsorship from the company to go along. I have an open work permit, my 10year old got a study permit but my 21-year-old son has a visiting visa and planned to apply for college. Hi girls, thank you so much for this video. What about if I am over 40? How difficult would be? I was thinking of a working visa but one of the requirements is to have a job offer from a Canadian employer...
The younger you are the more points you get if you use programs like Express Entry - it’s not impossible to still get enough point to qualify, because there are other criteria apart from the age that matter.
As for work visa, what’s your profession? some professions can skip LMIA process - do check out the cic jobs website. Otherwise, we’d recommend to network a lot and establish your differentiating factor - in other words, why are you a better specialist than anyone in Canada. ( not impossible, but also not easy)
For the indispensable after your get a job , can You bring your family? And your wife would have a work permit too?

I don't think so, but anyway the test shouldn't be a concern for the British as they speak fluent English.

Please check out Canada.ca or respective PNPs you’re interested in for different immigration programs and who qualifies for them. There are many factors to consider - your profession, experience, etc

You cannot come to Canada on a tourist visa to apply for a job. You can learn about the job market, or come if you are invited for an interview by a Canadian employer, but not apply with the intention of not going back home, if you are entering with a tourist visa.
It is possible for foreign citizen young adults to work in Canada in certain sectors like tourism, but this doesn't put you on the path to citizenship.
The best way immigrate is is to learn about the job needs (like healthcare) and to get those qualifications in your country, if possible. Many times, you can read about this in the job postings on the internet. You should also avoid colleges that are set up for foreign students to get their student visa, and which don't have any Canadian students (of which there are many). The government is making it harder for these graduates to stay in the country. Moreover, if you are not well educated, you won't make enough money to be able to afford the high cost of living in a large city like Toronto or Vancouver. You would be better to be a licensed electrician or tradesperson and work in more remote areas or central Canada. Canada admits many immigrants very year, and if you are not well qualified, you will be competiting with these workers for work, with lower pay and job security, in sectors like food service and day-care.
The government has made an exception to convert a visitors visa to a work permit for a limited period of time. Up to 2025
Since 2020 an exception was made to convert Visit visa to work permit for LMIA approved jobs.

I like the subtle way you are showing people how to scam the Canadian immigration system. With a visitors visa you need to proove you will not overstay your visa and go back toyour country within 90 days in general... This is the whole point
It’s not a scamming the system. Plans change, there’s nothing illegal about qualifying for a work permit while you’re on a tourist visa. Besides, getting a tourist visa is sometimes even harder than getting a work permit

Incase you haven’t noticed, we let anyone and everyone in with open arms! Mainly elderly immigrants that overwhelm our hospitals though they haven’t paid into our medical system for 50+ years like the citizens that have to wait 2 years for a surgery
@@mitchvankesteren6771 not sure where you get that information from. it is actually much harder to get a visa to Canada for an older person. Immigration also penalizes older applicants making it harder to get PR if you’re 40+

Hi Мансур. Unfortunately we do not have any insight into this, we do know that given the CUAET( Ukraine open work permit) visas there’s a big backlog of applications, so ALL visa applications are delayed right now.
We would recommend you try calling them to see if you can get any info.

Hey K, not a pro on taxation but my two cents - as a US citizen you’re required to pay tax to the US no matter where you live; However, you may qualify for certain foreign earned income exclusions and/or foreign income tax credits - I recommend you do research in this.
As for Canada, if you are considered resident in Canada, you also have to pay tax.

Short course could be a short as 12 weeks..Canada needs truckers ..so maybe do a trucking course

When you arrive you show your return ticket (or booking), and you leave prior to the date that the officer stamps in your passport or prior to 6 months period ends (whatever's sooner).
Or apply for visitor visa extension. Check Canada.ca for that.
