Not to burst your hopes but I doubt upchurch will respond. He been acting way out pocket recently and this is from a person who isn't very familiar with Mesus. What started this was a couple months ago Upchurch made a video referencing Adam Calhoun claiming he was making disstracks on him while he was in the other room. So to respond Adam in his comments concerned told him if he has a problem with him to air him out. Instead of talking to Adam or reaching out as their supposed to be friends, Ryan makes a video taking aim at Adam saying he has a lot of dirt on him. In that video being Adam's close friend of Adam and also used to have a friendship with Ryan referenced the situation in a recent song named 'country rap Kendrick.' Taking it as a diss Ryan responded to this in a video claiming he had not idea who he was and so therefore prompted Mesus to make his receipts video which then in response Ryan made a video where he doubles down on his claims saying he doesn't recollect Mesus and states they were never friends, claiming he's just being obsessive. Mesus also asked Ryan to delete the video as he believed he has now cleared his name and he doesn't want a video out there lying on his name. Ryan refuses to do so which has now resulted in Mesus releasing this diss track. Basically also the reference to case about the child who died Ryan was even making videos until recently about the child named Kyle Rodni who was 16 and claims her parents had something to with her death which has resulted in the parents suing Ryan for deformation.

If your really think people are hanging on his name to make money, why do more or less all of them get more views on every recent video than he does ? I like Upchurch's music, but I've always thought his rap is on a pretty basic level. You creeksquad Stans are acting like the pronoun fools, who deny there's more than 2 genders, and XX and XY means nothing. Like, you literally can't see the wood for the trees. There's no denying Ryan is a great country artist and some of his rap is def catchy, but he's nowhere near the level of any of the top rated rappers, be real. Mesus on the other hand can at least properly spit.
I get it, though, if you haven't listened to much rap in the last, however many years that you've listened to country rap, you'd think Upchurch is a top tier lyricist.
